JUNE 8TH | SUNDAY

JUNE 9TH | MONDAY

JUNE 10TH | TUESDAY

JUNE 11TH | WEDNESDAY

I would like to formally invite and highly encourage you to attend the Western States Roofing Contractors Association's 40th Annual Western Roofing Expo taking place this June 8th through 11th, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. This year we are taking the show back to the classic, elegant and sassy Paris Hotel, conveniently located on the main Las Vegas strip.

Be sure to arrive in time to participate in the annual Golf or Sporting Clays Tournaments. Both events take place on Sunday morning, June 8th, and benefit the Davis Memorial Foundation, which is dedicated to assisting students through scholarship grants.

Following the outdoor events, the first seminar of the Expo "Does Your Company Run You?” starts at 3:30p.m. back at the Paris. Come and learn how to take control of the two most important reasons in owning your company. This is a great way for you to kick off the educational part of your Expo experience.

Then Sunday evening it's time for a little more fun, food, beverage and networking at the Presidential Welcoming Reception. All registered attendees are invited. Along with the food and beverage will be the ever popular "Lively Silent Auction". Place your bids on the silent auction items, then get into the very lively bidding frenzy. This event is hosted by Auctioneers extraordinaire - and former WSRCA Presidents, Bill Baley and Chuck Chapman! This event is also in support of the WSRCA's Davis Memorial Founda-tion. Something we can all feel good about supporting and participating in.

On Monday and Tuesday morning of the Expo, the main body of educational seminars take place. Continuing to stay on top of what is happening and what is changing in the roofing and waterproofing industry is a must for survival in today's market. Owners, project managers, estimators, superintendants and other key employees will have ac-cess to very informative seminars and programs that will enhance your business back at the office after the Expo.

Both Monday and Tuesday afternoons, the ever popular and growing trade show floor opens. This is a great follow up to the learning and educational experience you had at the morning seminar sessions. See the newest and latest developments from manu-facturers, suppliers, advances in technology and the newest in equipment available for the roofing and waterproofing industry today.

The Legislative Luncheon will be held on Monday, June 9th. Craig Brightup, President of the Brightup Group, will be returning for his 19th year as our guest speaker. Craig's report from inside the Beltway is always informative, entertaining and provides some great insight regarding developments from our nation's capitol. This is an event not to be missed. On Tuesday, June 10th, this year's keynote speaker at the Annual Luncheon is Sean D. Tucker. Sean is one of the Living Legends in Aviation. Listen to one of the best aerial artists in the world describe the physically demanding full throttle experi-ence of stunt pilot aviation. Even with your feet on the ground, this promises to be an exhilarating experience!

Stay on top of what is happening in the roofing and waterproofing industry in the Western States. Make it a point of taking the time to join us at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada for the 40th Annual Western Roofing Expo, still holding the position as the best regional roofing expo in the country!

See you in Las Vegas!

Steve Meisenheimer started his business career at age 16, eventually he built his business into a million-dollar entity, the state’s largest tree trimming company. Over time he acquired and sold nine businesses. In 2005 Steve decided to shift his focus to sharing the painful and ex-pensive lessons he had learned about how to build, man-

age and lead successful businesses. Small business owners who want to learn the practices and achieve the results of the most effective leaders appreciate Steve’s content and motivational style.

The Effective Leader trains business owners to learn how to take control over the two most important reasons to own your own company: increased control of your income and greater personal freedom. Steve helps small business owners accelerate the growth and profitability of their business while getting out of the day-to-day work, so they can LEAD instead of do-ing the work themselves.

The Obama administration has put the teeth back in OSHA’s bite, but companies continue struggling to figure out their rights when an OSHA inspector enters their business. Would your Company be prepared if you opened the door today to find an OSHA compliance officer ready to inspect your business? Do you know your legal rights and how to handle an inspection from an enforcement-drive OSHA? Annual Luncheon withKeynote Speaker: Sean D. Tucker11:30am - 1:30pmSponsored by: Malarkey Roofing Products

Sean D. Tucker’s life is marked by a search for ex-cellence and perfected skill. He is not satisfied un-less he is learning, refining a skill, or conquering a fear. Whether he is climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro, heli-skiing, cave SCUBA diving, golfing, or flying his one-of-a-kind aerobatic dream machine, Sean D. Tucker is full-throttle and extremely accomplished. He has been flying airshows world-wide since the mid-70’s and has won numerous aerobatic compe-

titions. In that time, Sean has logged more than 24,000 hours, flown more than 1200 performances at more than 500 airshows, in front of more than 122 million fans. The level of professionalism and excitement in Sean’s air-show displays is no coincidence. Sean practices his airshow routine three times every day. To endure the extreme physical demands of each routine, Sean maintains a rigorous physical training schedule by working-out over 340 days per year.

Sean has been named as one of the Living Legends in Aviation, National Avia-tion Hall of Fame inductee, recipient of the Crystal Eagle Award, the General Charles E. Yeager International Aeronautical Achievement Award, inductee at the 2001 USAF Gathering of Eagles, and named as one of the Living Legends of Flight. This raises Sean into an elite group of aviators and astronauts that includes General Jimmy Doolittle, General ‘Chuck’ Yeager, Bob Hoover, Gene Cernan and John Glenn.
