General conditions for Ouotation.

1. The design patterns / drawing indicated in the tender document are tentativeonly and it can be changed as per requirement of the Bank and with instructionsof the Paneled Architect/Bank authority.

2. Work should be undertaken during office time only. Bank'sdecision in thisregard will be final.

3. The work allotted should be completed in stipulated period of 3 weeks from the

date of written order. The delay in completing the work will be pena\ized @ I%of total cost per day.Contractor should not object for any deduction in the items of said work orquality of item & cost will be reduced accordingly.

In case of changes in specifications with the permission of authority, cost willbe calculated accordingly.

5. The contractor should quote the rate in figures as well as in words for the workas running feet and also total estimate.

6. The rates quoted by the contractor should include all the material, all leads andlifts, scaffoldings, labor, equipment's etc. so also all taxes including VAT, SalesTax, Service Tax, CGST,SGST, Octroy, transportation etc. needed for the job.

7 . All erasures and alterations/corrections made while filling the quotation must beauthenticated by the signature of contractor. Overwriting of the figures is notpermitted; otherwise the quotation may be liable for rejection.

8. The contractor shall remove all debris, malaba etc. wash and clean the floor andhandover the site in proper manner after completion of the work on due date.

9. The work executed should be approved by the Bank and contractor shall rectifrany bad workmanship pointed out at any stage and remove from site all therej ected material immediately.

10.The contractor should inform the Bank or its representativelpanel architect tocheck measurement of any work/mateial which is likely to be hidden beforecovering.

ll.The contractor will not execute any extra item without Bank's permission inwriting.

l2.Conditional quotation quoted by the tenderer is liable to be rejected.13.The quotation will remain valid for the period of 3 months from the date of

opening of the tenders. Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any or allquotations without assigning reason to do so.

14.A11 pages of the tender documents, conditions, specifications, schedules etc,shall be initialed and signed by the contractor before submission of quotationsas a token ofacceptance.

15.The contractor shall make his own alrangement for watch and ward of hismaterials and shall ensure the safety, breakage and theft of material fixed or' unfix'bd by him or other materials immediately. Bank will not be responsiblefor any theft, loss or damage etc.

16.The contractor will take necessary precautions for carrying out work avoidingany damage to structures / decorative parls of the properly. The contractor willrectify any damages done at his own costs.
