Different Vision Italy West Europe is here. In this section of our serie, we have a lot of authors, and the majority are from Italy. So, we start just here, and we have a really GREAT numbers of Photographers. This is Volume one of five. The idea for this series was born looking at the myriad of wonderful images in Wephoto Group pages. Authors from all over the world, each with their own culture, traditions, a world view that, although globalization, has different colors regarding different areas So part of this series has the goal to explore every world’s Macro region, and offer a proof, a featuring, trying to figure out if and how traditions and culture can give a “Different Vision”.

This is our third edition from that series. The first, dedicated Asian Authors is available for download via Apple iBooks Store, Amazon Kindle Store and Lulu.com, as separately reported, the second (three volumes) are available for download at the same platforms (see at the end of the book) I would like to thank all the authors for their cooperation, patience and enthusiasm. Almost daily we did talk about the achievement of this book, how to select photos and so on, different countries, different cultures, different languages, and yet we found ourselves in the WePhoto’s chat, talking as old friends in one language, feeling as if we were sitting at a table in a pub to have a drink together. This is the most beautiful side, perhaps, of this work. Demonstrate that we are all the same, it doesn’t matter where we were born, we share the same passions, the same fears, the same hopes.

A special thanks to my friend and admin Dick Visser, Art Director, for the supervision of the graphics, layout and the realization of the book, and with whom we are fighting together to achieve a single version to be offered to various platforms. Photography is for me narrate a world to the world that surrounds me. It is an act of recognition of dedication and rigor, not only in form but also in substance, since I think it is a true act of socialization, true oxygen to the limits imposed by my shyness. I think that photography is in fact a wonderful way to tell, with its own original vision, unique to each of us, the world belongs to us because now assimilated, metabolized and shaped.It is an overwhelming, continuous visual metaphor of themselves.

The approach to the world of photography as a child by my first shots with a Kodak. Dopo professional studies and start working with my first salary I buy my first SLR a Minolta. In addition to photography, I did a brief stint as a TV operator at a local TV. Lately I dedicate myself to photography very minimalist, trying to capture only the essence of things, make the invisible visible, capturing shapes and colors of objects and structures.

Born in 1976 in Palermo, Sicily, a place full of cultural influences and artistic symbols, he develops an innate curiosity about the artistic expressions. Prior to test them in street photography, he explores different genres of photography: portrait, reportage, reaching expressions results of contamination of gender and visual layers, through reflections and shadows. This path leads him to live the streets and obserbe the small details of everyday life, whether they are surreal, bitter taste or curious.

As many amateur photographers I started with an analog reflex developping black and white film on my own and printing my first b&w photos in the bathroom of my parents’ house. During these years I got to experience all fields of photography, this wonderful hobby: macro, landscapes, street, sports, portraits and so on. During the last two years I have preferred taking pictures to beautiful women in the categories: portraiture, glamour, fashion, nude.

Each time that an event captures my attention, my whole body is engaged in a phisical and emotional state of tension that comes to an end in a simple click, that’s my way to wink at that minimal crumb of reality that vibrates in resonance with my Soul in the uniqueness of that instant. Each Image is a sensual response, an enthusiastic saying “yes here I am”, to the bright beauty of the little things with whom I share my daily life. Photography is for me an act of love, an attempt to answer to the desire of any event to arise from the indifference: each shot is my way to arouse my Presence and glance back to the beauty of the World with all my heart.
