and a minimum of 8 credits for numeracy or an equivalent
qualification. If you are 20 years of age or older at the time

minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent is required.
FURTHER STUDY OPTIONS
Upon completing the Certificate in Hotel Reception (Level 3)
you can enter into the second year of the Diploma in Hospitality
Operations Supervision (Level 5).

If you like the idea of working with people in a fast paced,
dynamic industry, where no day is the same, then the Certificate
in Hotel Reception (Level 3) is the place to start your career.
Covering everything from hotel reception, reservations,
cashiering, food and beverage operations, porter service and
housekeeping, you will build up a comprehensive knowledge of
the hotel sector. In our simulated hotel front office facility you will
learn how to provide the best possible customer care, develop
your communication, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
and master computer reservation systems such as Fidelio.
With industry field trips, a three-day educational trip and three
weeks work experience, you will gain the skills you need to get
going. This is a multi-skilled qualification that offers excellent
skills across the board, from hospitality to general business
administration roles.

Learn to become a professional waiter, barista and bartender with

Designed to provide you with a broad knowledge of front of
house services within restaurant, hotel and café environments,
you will learn how to make coffee, mocktails and cocktails, gain
core table service skills, understand food and wine pairings and
learn about menu development. Along with all the technical
skills, you will also develop customer service, communication
and problem solving skills with hands-on experience working
with real customers at our training restaurant Bistro 107. You will

Fast-track your career in hospitality or hotel management
with the Diploma in Hospitality Operations Supervision. The
hospitality industry is growing at a rapid pace. New business
