ENROLLED STUDENTS Membership to the Wellness Center and Natatorium is part of tuition for all enrolled students at USCA. Please come to the facility to fill out your paperwork and pick up your key tag. To complete the paperwork you must bring a current class schedule.

USC AIKEN FACULTY/STAFF AND RETIREES $60 per year/$30 for 6 months with an anniversary renewal date.This includes membership to the Wellness Center and Natatorium. It also includes towel and locker service.

SPOUSE & YOUTH OF FACULTY/STAFF $60 per year/$30 for 6 months with an anniversary renewal date.Youth must be over 15 years of age. 15-18 years must be accompanied by their parent. AIKEN COUNTY GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES AND RETIREES (does not include Aiken City Police and Aiken County School personnel) - Wellness Center $100 per year or $50 for6 months. This includes the Natatorium.

USC AIKEN AFFILIATED (Alumni, Alumni Spouse (of all USC Campuses), Cardiac Graduates, Cardiac Graduate Spouse, Student Spouses, Seniors Program transfers, Carolina Heart & Vascular Employees, Aiken County Government Spouses, ARMC Employees, ASL Parents) - Wellness Center $240/year (includes Natatorium); $120 for 6 months or $60 for 3 months; Natatorium Only: $100/year or $300 per family.

USC AIKEN VIP DONORS Membership is available to current USCA VIP donors (must have card) - Wellness Center $195 per year; $100 for 6 months; $50 for 3 months (includes Natato-rium). Natatorium Only: $65/year or $250 per family. Anyone interested in becoming a USCA Donor please contact the Development Office at Pickens Salley House. 803-641-3334.

The USC Aiken Natatorium is a six lane pool with attached locker room facilities. It is attached to the Student Activities Building. Membership to the Natatorium is included with any Wellness Center membership. Affiliates can choose to purchase a Natatorium membership separately for the following prices:

USC AIKEN AFFILIATED $100 per individual or $300 for entire family

VIP $65 per individual or $250 for entire family. (Please see VIP donation requirements)

GUEST PASS $3/visit. Must be accompanied by a current member.

NATATORIUM HOURSMonday - Thursday: 9:00am - 3:00pm; 7:00pm - 8:30pm

Friday: 9:00am - 3:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am-2:00pm

Sunday: 4:00pm - 6:00pm

PROGRAMS IN THE NATATORIUMThe Natatorium is closed from 4pm-7pm Monday through Friday & Saturdays from 7am-10am for exclusive use to the Augusta Swim League (ASL). The pool is open for members lap swim Monday - Thursday beginning at 7pm.

SENIOR WATER EXERCISE Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday 9:30am-10:30am. $20 for a 10 class punch pass. Payment can be made at the Natatorium.

POOL PARTIES The Natatorium is open to the general public for scheduled pool parties on Saturdays and Sundays.Time 2:00pm - 4:00pmFees: $25 deposit required at the time of reserving the pool + $100 due the day of the party for up to 20 patrons. $3 for each additional patrons up to a maximum of 30. The $25 deposit is a non-refundable deposit is due at the time of the reservation. All reservations must be made in person at the Wellness Center or Natatorium.

HIIT TRAINING: High Intensity Interval Training or HIIT Training is an explosive – get right down to business— way to exercise. This class is focused on short, intense intervals to condition your body. Anyone can do HIIT Training and the instructor will give levels for every exercise. Think of the workout Insanity and that is HIIT Training.

HIP HOP HUSTLE: Put a little hip hop, funk and groove in your exercise routine.

LET’S DANCE: Who doesn’t like to dance? Dancing is a great total body workout!

LOWER BODY BLAST: A class that will focus on toning and strengthening the low- er portion of the body.

OUTDOOR BOOT CAMP: Take the boot camp workout outside (inclement weather class will be held in the Studio)

VINYASA YOGA: Add a flow to your yoga postures that will improve cardiovascular and muscular systems.

YOGA: Learn the basic postures of a classic yoga practice to lengthen and strengthen your body.

ZUMBA: Get this party started! A Latin flare to get the body moving.

ALL ABOUT THE CORE: This class will focus on creating a strong core (abdominals, low back and other muscles attached to the pelvic bone).

BOOT CAMP: Variety is the key to this fun and energy creating workout! A com- plete body workout each time!

CARDIO KICK: A fun and energetic cardio and strength

CARDIO/PILATES: Hi/Low cardio paired with abdominal and low back pilates training. workout with a boxing twist.

CIRCUIT TRAINING: This class is set up in a circuit fashion and will train the entire body.

CROSS TRAINING: Each week this class will introduce a different training style to keep your body guessing. Cycling, Strength Training, Tabata— you won’t get bored!

CYCLING: (limited to 12 people) Cycling classes are appropriate for all levels of fitness. Each instructor will tailor the class based on who attends during that specific session.

CYCLE CIRCUIT: (limited to 12 people) A mix of cycling for cardio and strength in- tervals! Perfect total body conditioning.

PacerFit Club

PacerFit Club is a fitness competition

club open to all Wellness Center

members. The overall goal of the club is to

provide members with a fun way to

improve their overall fitness level.

Registration for session 2 begins on March 3rd. Session 2 begins the week of March 17, 2014. Class is limited to 20 participants

Exercise is Medicine (EIM) is a FREE structured exercise and basic nutrition program created for students that have risk factors for heart disease.

BENEFITS OF EXERCISE:• Improved cardiovascular & respiratory function • Improved test scores and memory• Decreased anxiety and depression• Enhanced feelings of well being• Improved blood pressure• Improved cholesterol • Improved body fat• Improve your ability to sleep• Decrease your risk for heart disease• Improve your ability to deal with stress• Decrease risk of cancers• Decrease risk of developing Type II Diabetes

WHAT IS A PART OF EIM:Pick up your application from the Wellness Center desk4 week structured exercise programIndividual attention from an Exercise LeaderMotivation and guidance to add physical activity and healthy food choices to your lifestyle.

REQUIREMENTS:Application to join EIMAttend EIM Group Personal Training Class once per week (Mondays at 7pm or Tuesdays at 4pm)Commit to adding physical activity into your weekly schedule 3 times per week.

Fitness Assessment ProgramThe fitness assessment is a full evaluation of your overall physical health in five areas including cardiovascular, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composi-tion and flexibility. The assessment consists of two appointments. The first includes the physical tests in each of the physical health areas and the second is an orientation to the four week exercise program that will be created based on your overall goals and results. (The price structure is on the attached price list). To schedule your appointment call the Wellness Center desk at 803.641.3641.
