FULL-TIME CAREER TRAINING OPTIONS: Welding Fabricator – this career major is for individuals who want fast- paced specialized training to make a quick entry into the welding workforce. This program provides training for GMAW and FCAW* welding processes. Basic skills in blueprint reading, math, layout design, fit up, and cutting processes will be covered as well as proper safety practices. You will learn how to weld on structural building materials and plate. See chart below for session times and locations. Combination Welder – this program provides comprehensive training for all welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW*). Basic skills in blueprint reading, math, layout design, fit up, and cutting processes will be covered as well as proper safety practices.
