This project represents a public-private partnership where Mansfield enlisted to design and build a turnkey CNG station at an existing retail fueling location owned by Firestone Convenience, LLC. The project is partially funded by Congestion, Mitigation, and Air Quality (CMAQ) grant monies through the Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) along with matching funds from Mansfield, Anadarko, Noble Energy, and Encana. All companies are local Natural Gas Coalition partners within the Oil & Gas Industry. Mansfield owns and operates the Weld County CNG site which will be open to the public 24 hours a day. The Firestone location offers a dual hose fast fill dispenser to provide fueling for light, medium and heavy duty CNG vehicles. The station also includes a Mansfield Fuel Management System (FMS) which records and processes all transactions, delivers a receipt to public consumers, and provides reporting capabilities for private/government sector customers. The FMS accepts standard credit cards such as Visa®, MasterCard® and American Express® as well as fleet cards such as Voyager, Wright Express, and Fleetcor. J. Alexander, President of Mansfield Energy said, “Infrastructure has been the greatest challenge to overcome in adopting CNG as a transportation fuel. We’re excited to debut our first of two fueling sites in Weld County and look forward to continuing to work with our industry partners to develop natural gas infrastructure throughout the U.S.” CNG-fueled vehicles produce far fewer emissions than gasoline and diesel-fueled vehicles, including 90-97% less carbon monoxide, 87% fewer volatile organic compounds, a 35-60% reduction in nitrogen oxides, and 30% less carbon dioxide. CNG is also approximately 30% less expensive than diesel. Use of CNG as a transportation fuel also advances U.S. energy independence, since 70% of the oil our nation imports is used for transportation. Weld County Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer commented, “Weld County is committed to implementing energy projects that support our Smart Energy Plan. The new Firestone SkyBlu CNG station is one of two sites that will open

WELD COUNTY’S FIRST PUBLIC CNG STATION TO OPEN JUNE 29 IN FIRESTONE
WELD COUNTY, CO – On Thursday June 29, the first public Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station in Weld County will open – the first of four public CNG stations scheduled to open in Weld County this year. The SkyBlu station, operated by Mansfield Energy Corporation, will be located at the I-25 and SH 119 intersection in Firestone; ribbon cutting and fueling demonstrations will begin at 12:30 p.m. “This is a milestone for the Weld County Natural Gas Coalition,” said Weld County Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer who formed the Coalition in 2009. “The Board of Commissioners set a goal, through the Coalition, to create an alternative fuel corridor between Colorado and Wyoming, and today marks the first step toward making that goal a reality.” The Weld County Natural Gas Coalition is a collaboration of county government, municipalities and public and private sector entities dedicated to promoting natural gas as an affordable, abundant and local energy source. In addition to building the alternative fuel corridor and providing public education regarding CNG, the Coalition also works with municipalities, school districts and fire districts to use Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) funds to purchase CNG vehicles as part of their individual fleet replacement programs. “Weld County has already replaced 11 of its own fleet vehicles with CNG vehicles, and we recently approved the purchase of a heavy-duty liquefied natural gas truck for the County Public Works department,” said Kirkmeyer. In addition to Weld County vehicles, the Coalition has utilized CMAQ funds to help purchase four CNG vehicles for the city of Evans and a one-ton CNG truck for the LaSalle Fire Protection District. Funding for additional CNG vehicles is being applied for and, if received, will be used to help purchase up to eight additional CNG vehicles for two more towns and three fire protection districts. “We are proud of the work this Coalition has done to bring CNG to Weld County,” Kirkmeyer said. “The economic and environmental benefits of natural gas are substantial and now both the private and the public sector will be able to utilize natural gas as a fuel source if they choose.” Speakers at the June 29th station opening include Kirkmeyer, Firestone Mayor Chad Auer, Alex Schroeder from Colorado’s Energy Office and Mansfield Energy Corporation President J. Alexander. "Mansfield is proud to partner with Weld County to develop the CNG infrastructure in Colorado.” said Alexander. “Our two sites opening this summer in Weld County will offer local businesses and residents access to a clean, domestic transportation fuel at a lower price than diesel." A CNG fueling demonstration and vehicle showcase will follow the ribbon cutting. CMAQ funding for this project has been made available through the Denver Regional Council of Governments.

In simplest terms, natural gas is a fossil fuel like oil andcoal. Unlike other fossil fuels, however, natural gas is clean burning and
emits lower levels of potentially harmful pollutants into the air. The naturalgas used at this fueling station is just like the gas you use to heat your home
or to cook, but for transportation needs, natural gas is compressed tocreate CNG or liquefied to create LNG. CNG is the mostcommon form of natural gas used in transport vehicles.
What is Natural Gas?
• Like other fossil fuels, natural gas is found deep within the earth’s crust. • Following the production process, natural gas travels through millions
of miles of pipelines located all across the U.S.
• Natural gas pipeline construction has boomed in the 21st century, making natural gas more accessible and readily available
than ever before.
Where does it come from and how does it get to me?
• Cost: CNG typically costs 30% - 50% less at the pump whiledelivering the power and performance you need.
• Emissions: Vehicles that utilize CNG dramatically reduce theiremissions which leads to lower maintenance costs.
• Supply: CNG is America’s fuel! Recent studies report that we have morethan a 100 year supply of natural gas in North America employing the
technology that exists today. Utilizing CNG helps us reduceour dependence on foreign oil
and creates a secure energy future for
America.
Why CNG?
• Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) like Honda, Ford, GMand Chrysler are producing more light- and heavy- duty natural
gas powered vehicles every day!
• Certified installers provide economical and reliable conversions for many light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles for natural gas operation.
• For more information and updated lists of vehicles available directly from OEMs or via conversions through certified installers, please visit the U.S. Department

Time Fill On SiteCNG is dispensed slowly directly to vehicles' onboard
storage tanks.
The most common and cost effective option,
easy to locate and easily expandable as your CNG fleet
grows, unattended vehicles will automatically be fueled to
the proper capacity overnight.
Ideal only for fleets that return to central lot and
sit idle overnight or for extended periods and do not
need fast fill capacity. Not suited for public refueling.
Fast Fill On SiteSimilar to a liquid fueling station and is a must for public
access. The fast fill station draws from a storage tank
that is previously filled by a compressor.
Fueling turn-around time 3 –10 minutes, good
for larger fleets, dispenser speed is equal to gasoline
or diesel fill.
More costly.
Limited Fast Fill and Time Fill On SiteOffers flexible fill options for fleets when they
need an occasional top off or want ability to provide
public access.
Other OptionsInside and outside gate, consortium for cardlock, and
retail/cardlock options are also available.
Site EvaluationMansfield provides the resources and systems to not
only support the conversion project but also to ensure
the long term operational and transactional automation
required for lowest cost of ownership.
Major Factors to Consider When Switching to CNG
• Cost differential of new vehicle
