Welcome To You …

Who is Mike Witter?

(don’t worry, it’s not a test) :-)

Since 1996 I have not been working at a day job and instead have been running a full time profitablebusiness of my own. Since 2009 I started running my Internet business online.

Before I tell you about my Internet business journey, I want to tell you a little about myself (that hasnothing to do with Internet business) so that you can get to know me better as a person.

Why?

Because I seriously believe that if you want someone to trust you (like I want you to trust me when itcomes to helping you REPLACE YOUR JOB with your own Internet business), then that someoneneeds to know who you are first, you MUST make yourself known to them. I’m not talking aboutgetting well-known and enjoy celebrity status. I’m talking about people getting to know you personallyso that they have a good idea of who you are and what kind of person you are. Makes sense, right?

So, here goes …

I was born in Fort Eustis, Virginia, an Army brat. By the time I was 13 we (mom, dad and two brothers)had moved 12 times. Growing up in an Army family it does not take long to learn the “rough andtumble” of being the new kid on the block. We all played football, baseball and basketball so sportsgave us a jumpstart at each new location. We grew up watching Vince Lombardi and the Green BayPackers in addition to Notre Dame football.

For as long as I can remember I LOVED playing football. Depending on your age, back in the 60’s,was the Golden Age of football. There is a reason the Super Bowl trophy is named The LombardiTrophy.

We moved back to Virginia when I was in the 7th grade and settled in Annandale, a big High SchoolFootball town (of course). While I was at Annandale High School dad did his second tour in Nam andwe won the State Championship in football. The biggest major event in high school however was myjunior year when one of my teachers, Colonel Brightenberg, suggested to the class that we read a greatbook that he had just finished reading. That book was Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Thatbook gave me a mental framework to effectively relate to the world.

I graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a BSCE in 1978. At VMI I learned that you neverplace personal gain above personal honor and I learned how to play rugby.

I started working as an engineer for several companies until I started my own commercial constructioncompany in 1996. In addition to the construction company I owned or was a partner in a MortgageBrokerage, Collections Company and Private Investigations Firm. On the weekends I played rugby, gotmarried to my beautiful wife Jan and had four kids. As well, I designed and built our 6,000 square foothome in Fairfax Virginia.

Those are the highlights but there were plenty of low lights, times with illness and death, and timeswhen we did not have two cents to rub together with the constant phone calls from bill collectorsalways nagging. You all know what I am talking about, we all have to deal with hardship in one way oranother. It is part of being human. But it does not matter where you come from or who you were, theonly thing that matters is where you are going and who you are.

So business was good until about 2008 when the economy tanked and all of our businesses startedstruggling. Business on the Internet looked very attractive because of the low overhead and showedgreat promise in an otherwise slow economy. So I got started into Internet business and little did Iknow it was going to be a journey.

The Journey …

I spent literally 10’s of thousands of dollars and literally thousands of hours on coaching courses, onwebinars, in masterminds and building and working online systems and models. The overwhelmingmajority of which was good and productive time and material but ultimately did not work. There wasalways some missing nugget or something that changed over time or some technology or applicationflaw. Finally while in a one on one coaching program I got a facebook ad system working and made myfirst dollar on line. After about three months I had my first $1,000.00 month.

After about 7 months

I Got Fed Up

because of 2 reasons:

1. The ad system would work for a week or so and then I would have to redo all the ads or make sitechanges and adjustments. But the only way to know what was happening was by the ad revenue. So theincome would go up and down and was not consistent.

2. Every day I would have a number of clients that would complain and were not happy with thepostings and ads. In other words they were not really getting good value. At first I thought, well therewill always be some people that complain. But over time it really started to bother me and I finallydecided if I can not provide a great value so that the customer will be completely happy then I will notdo it. So I stopped doing that particular Facebook Ad Method.

So I searched for better and more reliable ways of making money online, until I finally realized that:It’s NOT just about “making or earning money online”, rather, it’s more about “building a REALBUSINESS on the Internet”

And to build a real business, whether online or offline, you need to ALWAYS PROVIDE VALUE toyour customers. (That Valuable Content thing again) :-)

If you can’t provide value, then it’s not really a business – it’s just a TEMPORARY, SHORT TERMincome.

Building an Internet business is NEVER easy, and will NEVER be easy.I wish I could tell you how easy it is and that you can earn thousands of dollars instantly andeffortlessly just by clicking a few mouse buttons, but the TRUTH is that it doesn’t work that way…

If it were REALLY that easy, everyone would be quitting their job and building an Internet businessfull time. But it’s NOT happening right? Instead, 99% people FAIL when they try to earn moneyonline, and they fail MISERABLY!

In my case, it took me 23 months before I finally made my first online money.

YES 23 Months my friend…

(…and even after 23 months, my online income was NOT CONSISTENT. It took me ANOTHER 12months before my income got steady – meaning it took me 35 months since I first got started inInternet marketing to make a CONSISTENT online income)

Not to discourage you or anything, but you should Plan that you’re NOT going to make any moneyonline for the first few months.

Seriously!

Do you realize that 92% of the successful people doing online marketing make less than $1,000.00 permonth?

If you are still reading, then, God Bless You, you are serious and I will give you the good news.

The good news is there is no better and simpler way to do business than to do business on the internet.There is no easier place to get started doing business than on the internet and there is no better time inhistory than right now to do business on the internet. You can get started doing business on the internetand making a profit right away. You do not have to spend all the money that I did or to waste all of thetime that I did before you have your first $1,000.00 month. After that first $1,000.00 month the sky isthe limit.

You only need two things to start: 1) A successful coach, mentor or teacher

2) A proven Done For You system

You need a successful coach, mentor or teacher that you can talk to and get timely feedback about whatis going on in your business. Personal interaction maintains your focus and develops momentum.

You need a proven Done For You system to start with because, quite frankly, there are a million ways tomake money on the internet and there are a million technological challenges on every front. When youare first starting it takes forever to do even the simplest tasks.

If you choose a proven Done For You system to start with you will avoid the majority of the technicalissues and the downtime associated with them as well as the downtime associated with your ownbusiness education and personal growth which are necessary for any type of new Business Venture.

With your helper and your Done For You system in place your internet business will be up and runningvery quickly, probably in just days and you will be making money very quickly, probably in the firstmonth. As your new Done For You internet business develops you can take the required time to learnhow the system works and how you can develop your own systems and models online. Just asimportant, you can take the required time to invest in your own personal development and lay a solidfoundation for your future business.

There are a ton of really good coaches, mentors and helpers online and there are many really goodDone For You systems online as well. I could add a bunch of affiliate links and put my signature link atthe bottom as well.

But that would defeat the purpose of this Welcome Letter which is to let you know who I am and thekind of person I am.

That I am a person you can trust.

That I am a person that will always do my best to provide you with value.
