Age 4 thru kindergarten .. Mini Trekkers 1st through 5th grade .. God’s Trekkers The Nursery is available for kids whose parents are participating in JBC Nite. Jr./Sr. High Youth WOW … WOW (worship on Wednesdays) is open to all youth and their friends. Each week youth will learn to live a worshipful lifestyle through the use of Experientials, Fellowship, Worship (music), Missions and Teaching. Children’s Church leaders are needed for chil-dren ages 3 through Kindergarten during 3rd

Hour Worship Service beginning in September. Leaders currently alternate months, but schedules could be adjusted according to your preference. All lessons and craft supplies are provided as well as assistants and moral support! Contact Pam Garber to check out this opportunity to serve.

Trekker Pilot Meeting: Wednesday, Aug. 28th at 7 p.m.

Bring your Bibles and join us as we prepare to get a heart check up! This fall we’ll begin preparations for

our Christmas musical, “Dr. Newheart’s Christmas Cure”. Contact Pam Garber if child care is needed during the meeting.

A few more Pilots (adult leaders) are needed Wednesday nights to guide small groups of children in their learning. Contact Pam Garber for info.

BBQ Chicken Fundraiser for the BRC Order some BBQ chicken to support the BRC/Camp Shipshewana. Sign-up sheets are in adult classrooms and the narthex. ($6 per half of chicken) Pick up at Walgreens (Pike St.) in Goshen, this coming Saturday! August 24th. (10 a.m. til sold out/pre-bought pickup by 1 p.m.)

Biblically-Based Preschool at JCC There are a few spots left in our Tuesday/Thursday 3-year old class! We have a waiting list for the M/W/F class. Contact Pam Garber or the church office to sign up. Classes begin August 26th.

Look Up and See the Glory of God! Model Builders Class room # 4 - Oct. 1st. will start a study by James Macdonald, "THE VERTICAL CHURCH". God created the church to reflect His glory and to enthrone Jesus in His rightful place. The world is hungry for what only a vertical church can provide. Don't waste your life on horizontal pursuits, look up and see the glory of God.

WORM Sunday School teacher needed for Preschool/Kindergarten class during 2nd hour every other month beginning in September. Don't be sheepish...come join our flock!

IST Tonight! 6-8 p.m. “5 Levels of Intimacy” using the model of Jesus’ life. The focus of tonight’s teaching is on "discipleship", a level of relationship which Jesus has called us to experience with Him.

SAVE THE DATE! According to our Child Protection Policy, all children and youth workers must attend the "Reducing the Risk" refresher course every 3 years. There will be 2 sessions on Sunday, September 29 so mark your calendar NOW and plan to attend. Doug Slabach from CAPS (Child and Parent Services) will be our featured speaker. If you must be absent, you will need to schedule a time for a makeup session.

Community Garden Wondering what to do with the abundance of extra tomatoes, cucumbers, etc. in your garden? We have about 50 different families coming to the free garden stand every Saturday who would love to receive it! Donations can be dropped off anytime at Kyle and Elizabeth Koch's house, or placed in the box in the coat closet at the church. Also, don't forget to sign up to help work at the garden stand. It's an amazing opportunity to get to know people from the commu-nity. We ALWAYS need help! Sign up sheets are on the bulletin board in the narthex.
