WELCOME TO THE GOOSE Home to Jersey's first authentic Josper oven. The first in the Channel Islands, the Josper oven originates from Spain and is a charcoal oven which came into existence when a Spanish chef was attempting to contain the fumes from an open charcoal barbecue. Operating at temperatures up to 850ºF the cooking and speed dual system of roasting and barbecuing produces fabulous flavours and aromas, infusing the atmosphere and evoking a colourful Mediterranean ambience with a distinctive taste to quality food. All menu items that have been cooked in the Josper are indicated with (J) Unique - Original - Tasty!...
