Welcome to our wonderful Art room and program!
Students from Years 1-6 visit our room each week where they engage
in fun and creative activities which are specifically designed by our
Art Specialist for each age group.
On this page you will find a taste of the wonderful work that is
produced in our room, as well as the rules that we all adhere to. Enjoy!
At the start of the year, students are introduced to the 7 Art Elements; Line,
Texture, Colour, Value, Shape, Space and Form. Here are some work samples that the
students created to demonstrate their understanding of the Elements.
In addition, the year always commences with the celebration of the Chinese New Year.
Dragon puppets, Chinese Money Trees and Cherry Blossoms are just some of the pieces
that have been created to celebrate this significant event.
The students have done a fine job in decorating the Art room to a high standard and making
it a very inviting place.
We all look forward, with anticipation, as to what the rest of the year may bring.
