We Welcome All Visitors to Our Celebration While Holy Communion may only be received by prepared Catholics, for our non-Catholic guests you are welcome to join the line to walk towards the priest or deacon to receive a special blessing: Simply cross your arms over your chest to receive a blessing.
Pastor’s Corner We often hear that violence and acts of terrorism are happening in some parts of the world. Even persecu-tion because of the faith is also happening from time to time in the present time. Upon hearing this we cannot avoid being angry with the perpetrators. We cannot escape feeling worried or fear about possibili-ties. But there is no reason to be afraid, because Jesus says in our gospel this Sunday “do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; ra-ther, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in Gehenna” (Mt. 10:28). If we allow God to be with us always he will rescue our “life from the power of the wicked” (Jer.20:13). Do not be afraid.

There may be some confusion over the next two weeks while both congregations adjust to the change. You must remove your car after the Sunday noon Mass. The lot is locked after Mass, so do not head to brunch without removing your car from the lot.

PERPETUAL MEMBERSHIP
Every week a Mass is celebrated in our Church for all those inscribed in our Perpetual Membership. A certificate is given at time of registration. Donation is $15. Certificates are available in the OLR Parish Office during regular office hours.
Eucharistic Ad-oration at OLR - Your time will be rewarded. Our Lady of the Ro-sary church estab-lished a small adora-tion chapel to allow you to spend more time with Jesus in the Eucharist. Commit-ments for adoration begin at, but not lim-ited to, one hour per week. Adoration chapels are a great
blessing for parishes and it is a way for you to enter more deeply into your faith. The best starting point to become more Christ-like in your daily life is to spend more time with him. You will gradually be transformed and experience unexpected blessings. You will become more who God made you to be-come and advance more surely along that path as you become transformed through your faithfulness to the graces that you receive.

Please, Come to Church Dressed Appropriately! To be modestly and tastefully dressed is a sign of respect for God, for our selves, and for others. It’s a false assump-tion that God does not care how we dress. Jesus told us, “Whatever you do to the least of my brothers, you do it to me.” If our attire is indecently provocative (short shorts, strapless, backless, spaghetti strap dresses/tops, or display-ing cleavage), displaying unwholesome graphics (skulls, advertisements, scantly clad people) or tattered, it becomes offensive to our brothers and sisters who are worshipping the Lord and therefore offensive to God’s Majesty. Ask this question: “Would you dress this way before God?” You are! He sees everything and you are in His house.
