TCSPP offers unique and inno-

vative services to uphold the in-

tegrity of scholarship. The Na-

tional Center for Academic &

Dissertation Excellence

(NCADE) was developed to pro-

vide students and faculty with

research and writing support, in-

cluding dissertation-specific ser-

vices that are one of the first

available in the field. NCADE

utilizes a coaching approach

which encourages students to take

full ownership of their academic

success and step into the role of

scholar.

NCADE focuses on supporting

students with each step of their

scholarship journey, from the first

day through graduation:.

Peer writing coaches and pro-

fessional writing tutors provide

feedback on written assignments

through the Academic Success

Programs (ASP).

Students can request unlimited

consultations or electronic feed-

back with peer writing coach-

es. Additionally, all students

have 24/7 access to unique writ-

ing resources and can attend writ-

ing and methodology related

webinars.

We provide feedback on your formatting, including page numbers, running heads, title pages, and reference page. We utilize the APA Publication Manual and even have a template available in the GSSP. Download it and type into it!

While we do not cover content, we are more than happy to help you organize your paper by reviewing your draft and offering guidance with grammar and mechanics. The goal is clear and concise writing!

We help you to understand the APA writing style and how to apply it in your papers. We have additional re-sources for APA style support available in the GSSP and on NCADE’s YouTube page. Academic Success Programs (ASP) provide comprehensive support with academic and professional

writing for all Master’s students and Doctoral students prior to the beginning of their work on a dis-

sertation. ASP include the following:

Graduate Student Success Program (GSSP) is our resource hub for academic success. It features

a variety of resources and tips on critical reading and thinking, the writing process and APA

style, and time management.

Our Writing Center’s team consists of two writing specialists, four writing tutors, and seven

peer writing coaches. It operates via the GSSP. Students can submit course papers for feedback

following the process described in Module 3 of the GSSP.

APA style hotline. Send specific questions on APA style format and writing style

to [email protected].

The Writing Assessment Process (WAP) allows us to address the individual writing-related

needs of each student through the Academic Writing Seminar (AWS) or Advanced Academic

Writing Seminar (AAWS). AWS entails one-on-one work with a tutor on written assignments

for regular courses and several self-paced tutorials. AAWS consists of self-paced online mod-

ules on APA writing and formatting style.
