Welcome to Lakvik Road map
The Risten–Lakvik Railway is operated by a non-profit organisation. It has a starting point at Lakvik, situated between Linköping and Åtvidaberg in the south east of Sweden The railway is built on a stretch of the embankment raslier used by the 891 mm gauge railway running from Norsholm to Västervik and Hultsfred At Lakvik buildings and rolling stock has been collected both from passenger carrying and industrial railways. In the inventory there are two steam engines, two pneumatic engines and several combustion engines as well as two of Sweden’s oldest passenger cars from the Åtvidaberg – Bersbo railroad.

The Railway café is kept open during scheduled train service and serves waffles, buns, cakes, coffee and cold drinks. On request the café will be open also at non-scheduled service.
