8. SCHEDULE
9. Arrival
8:35 Playground
Recess
8:45 Line up
Bussers will be dropped off in the back of the school on the
playground and I will greet them when they get off the bus and
remind them where we line up for the first couple of weeks. If this
is your childs first time on the bus and you want to make sure they
get to school you can follow the bus here in your car if it puts
your mind at ease.
There are adults supervising the playground by 8:30.So if you are
dropping your child off each morning, I suggest for the first
couple of weeks that you park your car and walk them to the
playground. They can put their backpack in line and play until the
school bell rings. This is a great way to get some exercise and
fresh air before the day begins. If you and your child get more
comfortable and confident you can drop your child off in the kiss
and go lane at 8:35 and they can walk to the playground in the
morning.
Then each day at 8:45 I will lead the class from the playground to
the classroom. If you arrive at 8:45 drop your child off at the
office doors and have them walk down the hall to the classroom. The
Kindergarten doors are locked all day.
