WELCOME TO HOLY TRINITY ACADEMY!

SCHOOL UNIFORM

The school uniform tells

everyone that you are part

of the Holy Trinity Academy

community.

You are expected to wear

your uniform correctly,

proudly and look neat and

tidy as you represent the

school.

SCHOOL CANTEEN

In the canteen we serve a ‘Meal of the Day’ in addition to a selection of jacket potatoes, pasta or salad bowls, sandwiches, baguettes, wraps and many more scrumptious dishes.

This is an example of our sandwich selection. There is also a range of desserts, puddings, cookies and fruit to choose from.

You can get pizza, sausage or bacon

rolls, croissants and pain au chocolate

at break time

SCIENCE

In science you will develop

your knowledge of physics,

chemistry and biology as

well as learning how to

work and handle equipment

safely in the laboratories.

In FOOD TECHNOLOGY you will learn about food hygiene and healthy eating

and make a range of fun foods including

pizza, pasta salad, apple crumble, mince

pies and vegetable curry.

In our WORKSHOPS, you will get to design and produce games and puzzles

using acrylic.

SCHOOL HALL

Our school hall is where staff

and students come together

each week to celebrate our

Collective Acts of Worship.

It is also our main school

performance space where we

hold our concerts and musical

productions

CHAPEL

This is our school chapel. You will come

here with your tutor group and your

form tutor for quiet time and to pray

together.

MUSIC

In this room, students learn to play

keyboards, sing, experience lots of

different musical styles and cultures

and even compose and perform their

own music.

There are also practice rooms with

drum kits and pianos that you can use

at lunch times.

You can have piano, guitar, brass and

drum lessons.

PASTORAL

Our Pastoral Team are here to help you

stay happy and safe at school.

You will have a Pastoral Officer you can

go to if you need help or are worried

about anything.

The Reflection Room is where you may go

if you are unable to be in class at any

time. It is a silent working space.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

This is one of our IT suites. Our Year 7 students have been coding their

own computer games and learning about online safety.

YOUR TIMETABLE WILL LOOK A BIT LIKE THIS. WE HAVE A TWO WEEK TIMETABLE.

DON’T PANIC – YOUR TUTOR WILL HELP YOU UNDERSTAND IT AND THERE ARE LOTS OF PEOPLE TO HELP YOU IN THE FIRST TERM

LOCKERS

At Holy Trinity you will need to carry your belongings around with you from lesson to lesson.

We have lockers available outside in the yard to help you manage this.

THE YARD

We also have outdoor

seating areas and table

tennis tables in our yard.

These are available for

you to use at breaktimes

and lunchtimes.
