About Trust Shri Yashwantrao Bhonsale Education Society (SYBES) is a premier educational organization in Sindhudurg district established in 2002 with the only aim to make rapid progress of the students through high quality, diversified and multidisciplinary education which will help the young ones to meet the challenges of 21stcentury and to capitalize their skills ahead. Shri Achyut Sawantbhonsale, a visionary & dynamic leader had laid the foundation of SYBES campus at Charathe, Sawantwadi in 2013. Spread across 16 acres, SYBES campus is situated amidst idyllic hills & lush green ambience to increase the harmony between study and nature. To cater the need of technical & professional education in Konkan region especially in Sindhudurg district, SYBES started Yashwantrao Bhonsale Polytechnic College with a state of art ultra-modern infrastructure in 2014 offering Civil, Mechanical & Electrical diploma engineering courses. After the successful commencement of Polytechnic, SYBES immediately established the first ever degree pharmacy college in Sindhudurg, Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy in 2015. This back to back initiative brought a huge revolution in the educational scenario of Sindhudurg district as the aspirant rural students were striving for such kind of value added curriculum. Both the institutes of SYBES having all types of facilities like hostel, mess, canteen, sports ground, ATM & transport are functioning very well. In a very short span Shri Yashwantrao Bhonsale Education Society has gained a very high reputation and public faith for its honest & transparent management. It has earned people’s trust that every initiative taken by the society will be against the benefit of people and future generation only. The society has taken a huge stride towards providing the advance education to each & every rural student of the region. Continuing the same zeal, SYBES is all set to expand its wings by setting up new educational institutes

which will help the students to reach new heights in the world of global opportunities. About Institute Yashwantrao Bhonsale College of Pharmacy (YBCP) is the first ever Pharmacy College in Sindhudurg district introducing pinnacle of excellence in pharma education and research. The commitment for total quality management (TQM) and discipline is prime slogan and motto of our college. Shri Achyut Sawantbhonsale, a visionary & dynamic leader had laid the foundation of YBCP at Bhonsale Knowledge City, Charathe, Sawantwadi in 2015. Please contact HR department for any queries if any. The policies stated in this hand book are subject to change at any time in the sole discretion of the organization. You may receive the copy of the updated information from time to time. Recruitment The selection committee panel shall augment candidature from any or all of the following sources:

• Advertisement in the Newspapers

• Applications received by Post / Courier / Email (online) / Personally

• Through Direct Reference by Current Employee The committee deems it fit, may also conduct “Walk in Interviews” for augmenting the required candidates, in case of urgency. The committee shall short list the candidates in the following processes:

• Personal Interviews

• Class room demonstrations

The educational qualification and experience for the various teaching posts will be as per the norms declared by AICTE, PCI New Delhi, Mumbai University and or MSBTE from time to time. The committee shall finalize the short listed candidates and submit their recommendation along with the Personal data sheets of the candidates to the Principal. Further; the Principal and Hon. Secretary of Shree Yashwantrao Bhonsale Education Society, Sawantwadi (M.S.), can discuss with the shortlisted candidates and decide the appointments. An “Appointment Letter” shall be released by Hon. Secretary in prescribed format. M. Pharm / Ph.D. completion criterion- After completion of M. Pharm / Ph. D. the faculty shall be appreciated by the management. Selection Selecting the right candidate at the right position and at right time. Selection should be made by examining all factors necessary to determine the best qualification and capabilities to fill the position. These factors may include experience, past performance, job related educational background, ability and qualifications to perform the work. Induction Every appointed faculty shall be given a brief introduction about the Institute either by the Principal or Concern Head of Department on the day of his/her joining. • Assigning the Login User & Password

• Photo session for ID Card (RFID Card)

Attendance and Punctuality The attendance and punctuality are expected from the all employees. Employees are expected to report as per schedule. In case they are unable to attend they will have to inform the Principal/Director /HOD’s. Attendance Register All employees of BKC have sign the attendance muster immediately after RFID/Biometric punching before entering the respective institute. The attendance muster will always be maintained and monitored in & by the HR department of BKC. Hours of Work/Work Schedules: We are having some flexible work schedules as per job requirements. Swipe Rules All the employees are requested follow their biometric punch procedure at the time of arrival and also while leaving campus. Any single punch is considered as half day. - If there is any major issue during biometric punching please inform to HR Department.

Late Mark One leave will be deducted for every 3 late arrivals or early exit during the month and incase where only ONE entry has been made either ‘incoming’ or ‘outgoing’ it will be treated as ABSENT. 10 minutes are considered while arriving. Leave Policies

• CASUAL AND MEDICAL LEAVES: Every employee shall eligible to avail up to a maximum of 12 (Twelve) Casual Leave. Every employee shall eligible to avail up to a maximum of 06 (Six) Medical Leaves in a calendar year. Medical Certificate is essential in case of leave taken more than 2 two successive days for claim.

• COMPENSATORY LEAVE In general, prior approval of Principal should be obtained by the staff, for carrying out works on holiday and then compensatory leave will be sanctioned to the staff. Later on the compensatory leave can be availed only after applying to the Principal and getting it sanctioned in advance. The record of such compensatory leave will be maintained in the Office. The compensatory leave should be availed during the same academic year. Compensatory leave will not be granted to any staff for special/extra classes, educational tours, MU/MSBTE practical examinations, inspection of AICTE/MSBTE, other bodies, emergency works and special working on Saturday, etc. In short, for the day wherein staff received remuneration, the Compensatory leave will not be granted.

• ON DUTY On Duty permission regarding institute/departmental work will be granted only on the prior permission in writing from the Head of the Department and an approval by the Principal. E.g. Industrial Visits, Trainings, Workshops, Conferences, Seminars, AICTE / PCI / MU / MSBTE Inspection Duty, MU/ MSBTE Exam Duty etc.

• VACATION LEAVE

Only Teaching Staff members (HOD, and Teaching staff) and Non-teaching staff (excluding Library and Office Staff) are eligible to avail vacation leave. Vacation can be availed only during the vacation period declared by M u m b a i U n i v e r s i t y a n d / o r DTE, Mumbai declared at the start of every academic year. For both Odd and Even semesters the Vacation Period starts as per the Mumbai University and / or MSBTE circular from the date of commencement of Theory Examinations. Vacation Leave may be availed in two spells in each vacation. CL, C-OFF, DL etc cannot be combined with Vacation Leave. Vacation Leave should be applied well in advance and got sanctioned before availing the same. Vacation Leave may be curtailed or refused depending upon the emergency of works.

• MATERNITY LEAVE The leave can be granted to all married lady staff subject to the following conditions: Should have completed the minimum of two years of satisfactory service. The maternity leave is limited to a maximum of 3 (Three) months only. After completing 5 years of service lady staff will be eligible for 6 months maternity leave as per standard norms.

• MARRIAGE LEAVE Eight (8) days marriage leave will be given for one’s own marriage. Any other leave taken apart from this will be consider as LEAVE WITHOUT PAY (LWP). Refreshments (Lunch Break) There is an hour “Lunch Break” in the Institute. During this period employees are not allowed to go out of the BKC premises. Staff members are not allowed to eat any eatable or their work place. They can eat foods in the allotted place only. Dress Code

a) For Men

• Strictly formal- Shirt and Pant

• Clean Socks And Shoes (Leather/Plastic)- No Sports Shoes or Sandals or Chappals

• Descent Belt

• Hair should be well groomed and trimmed b) For Women

• Strictly Formal

• Churidar or Saree

• Clean presentable Chappals

Salary Processing Salary is deposited in their respective salary account between 5 to 15th of each month. Resignation A minimum of one month advance written notice must be provided to the Principal with a copy sent to Human Resources. The one month notice must include time that will be actually worked. Vacation, personal leave, and sick leave may not be included in the advance notice requirement. Library Library facility is available for all staff members. Library consist of lots of books, magazines and periodicals on almost every subject. An employee of the institution is allowed to have the number of books from library and return the books within a defined time by Library time to time.
