Parents….. Provide school supplies and a place to

your student something specific and positive to work towards)

Help with organizational skills Ask for and see all progress reports and
report cards Encourage a healthy lifestyle Help with time management Make homework your child’s responsibility Provide academic support Know your child’s teachers and

ATTENDANCE
TO DO WELL IN SCHOOL, STUDENTS MUST HAVE GOOD ATTENDANCE
Students are required to attend school a certain number of days each year. It is a state law. Having good attendance means being in school everyday unless your student is ill or has a family emergency. If your student must be absent from school, please remember to always send a note upon your student’s return. Also your student is responsible for finding out what was missed and getting the work made up.
Good attendance does not guarantee good grades, however, poor attendance will pretty much guarantee poor grades.
STUDENT HANDBOOK
Please be sure to read and review the student handbook with your child……..it will……..
