How to Make a Wiki

To get started, you need to go to www.wikispaces.com

You will need to spend a few minutes to get familiar with the information provided on the homepage.

Click the green button to get started

Choose a username and password for yourself. Type an email address that

you check regularly.

You will see a Getting Started screen. You need to have a look and then close it.

1. Page title2. Click Edit to start adding some text 3. You can save and add more pages after that.

It is more like a word processing program now and you can start using it straight away.

I will show you now how to publish PDF files, Word and PowerPoint documents on your Wiki.

I will show you now how to invite students to join the Wiki and what privileges you can give them.

• I will also show you how to start a discussion on each page that you make and how students can take part in them.
