‘The key for me was having a routine of what I did each day. I made sure I knew what I wanted to cover and it was all ready for me to do so I didn’t spend time procrastinating.’

December Mock Examinations

● Will begin on the 2nd December and run until the end of term● As far as is possible, the timetable has been built to reflect the

summer exams● This will be invigilated by external staff, in the same way as the

summer exams● Students do not need to be in school when they have an exam**,

however we encourage them to stay on site ● Students MUST arrive to all exams at least 15 minutes before to be

registered● Full school uniform is mandatory● Clear pencil case with all equipment in it and a clear, unmarked

GCSE Maths - Revision● Students are given a practice exam paper every week for homework. They should

make sure they do these to the best of their ability and use Mathswatch/Corbett Maths or a revision guide to look up any topics with which they need help.

● Continuous revision and following up on topics covered in class will be far more beneficial than last minute cramming.

● At home please encourage students to take their time with these papers - they are the best way to prepare for the exams.
