Inquiry and Primary Sources

For the Library of Congress, it is not enough for students to look to primary sources to answer the teacher’s questions or textbook questions.

An ultimate goal of inquiry-based learning – is to teach students to look to primary sources to come up with their own questions. That is what historians do.
