WELCOME LIAISONS
Blood•Please be on time!
•The time is more important than the name on the
card
•In the case that you know you will be deferred, please
find someone else to go in you place.
•If you have questions on eligibility please refer to
www.redcrossblood.org
Blood•Show up five minutes EARLY to your scheduled
appointment time
•Must have your appointment card
•The more you stay on schedule, the more we stay on
schedule
•If members have not made appointments yet, please
stress to them to make an appointment to make to
process go quicker for us as well as for themselves.
Blood•Volunteers need to wear closed toed shoes•Need to arrive to shifts 5 minutes early
•Need to know that they will serve a two-hour shift•No solicitation will be allowed within 500 feet of the
Hearnes Center during the drive, in a campus setting,
or on a listserv; points will be deducted if any attempt
is made
Campus Decorations•Safety Checklist
•Scripts due after the meeting
•Suggested Timeline:
• Plan for Audio Recording and have them
ready for next Thursday 10/6
• Have roughly 40-60% of the boards done
Campus RelationsResidence Halls:
•Please come see us at the end of the meeting to sign up for your BBQ’s
location
•Your food and flame permits will be completed prior to the BBQ by our
committee
•BBQ’s will take place next Sunday, October 9. Set-up and preparation
may begin at 1pm and judging will begin promptly at 4pm
•All judging requirements are listed in the rulebook, but remember to
include your celebration in your decorations. If pairing, you may choose
one or incorporate all celebration themes.
Campus RelationsOrganizations, Residence Halls, and Greek Groupings:
•Anyone who has not chosen a celebration or received a rulebook please
come see us today to take care of that!
•Decorate the District contact contracts are due before you leave today
unless previously arranged
•Come find us after today’s meeting if you ran into any issues with your
establishment
•Decorating will take place on Thursday, October 13 from 10am-4pm
•Refer to your rulebook for specific guidelines and restrictions, but be sure to
speak with your establishment owner about any material limitations or come
find us for other questions.
Merchandise• If you still need to pick up your merchandise, see
us after the meeting.
• Homecoming Spirit Day will be Thursday, October
13! Encourage members of your organizations to
wear their Homecoming apparel.
Parade•Float Sketches are due after the meeting today
•Parade will be October 15th
•Thank you for your entries and we'll be emailing you
soon with more information!
Public RelationsBanner:•Banners are to be displayed by 5 pm on October 3rd
•Banners will be judged at 5 pm on October 4th
•Banners must be taken down by 6pm on October 16th
- Residence Hall banners are to be taken down on October
17th
