Helen Keller Festival - The Helen Keller Festival began in 1979 as a tribute to the life of Helen Keller. Over 75,000 people visit and attend juried arts exhibits in Spring Park.

Arts Alive - Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts Volunteers, and was started in 1986.Juried exhibits from the tri-state area are featured in Wilson Park.

Second Saturdays - A casual gathering of artists with refreshments on the second Saturdayof the month.

Shoals Arts Network - A casual gathering of artists on the third Thursday of the month.

First Fridays - Currently consists of 18 board members, a growing event attracting thousandsdowntown (spun from Mainstreet Program's Art Nights in 2004).

Because most Artists are not "Marketers"... I wanted to help market the areas' Arts resources (Promoting artists & art galleries in the Shoals area of Alabama).In fact, FREE marketing tips are provided to participating artists at First Fridays events.

The mission of Shoals Art is to promote the artists and art galleries in the Shoals area,by specifically providing our visitors with the online tools needed to answer the what,where, when, who and how questions associated with our cities' art culture resources.
