Thank you for your thoughts shared in the Preparation Survey
which helped us in developing our plans to serve you.
This NEWLETTER provides information for our re-opening and
Parking for the Distribution of Holy Communion outside of Mass will fol-
low the normal weekend parking pattern. Individuals can park in the upper or
lower lot. Please refer to the diagram below to where the priest or deacon will
stand. It will be different depending on the weather.
Since many people will have watched Mass either from EWTN or one of
the other live-streamed services, the priest will come out...everyone will say the
“Our Father.” After the Our Father the priest or deacon will say “Behold the
Lamb of God…” Then each individual may come forward to receive commun-
ion. Once receiving Holy Communion the communicant can return to their vehi-
cle to say a prayer of thanksgiving.
SATURDAY EVENING 7 PM MASS OUTDOORS
The added 7 PM Mass has been slated to be held outdoors. Mass will be cele-
brated outside even it is cloudy or light rain. If, however it is calling for bad storms we
will celebrate the Mass inside. When Mass is celebrated indoors the max capacity of
the Church is 120 individuals.
Father Carroll will be recording the Mass live for people to access the sound
and video from their phones. As you can see above we are asking parishioners to
park their vehicles and skip a parking space in between. This will allow individuals if
they choose to get out and sit on the drivers side of the vehicle. Parishioners are also
free to remain in their vehicles. Those who parked in the upper lot are free to bring
their lawn chairs down and sit in the blacktop section a long the school. Please re-
member to keep a good safe social distance of 6 feet from the other groups of individ-
uals.
Like Masses indoors, Holy Communion will be distributed after Mass for those
who wish to come forward.

HOLY COMMUNION OUTSIDE OF MASS
When we return to Mass, in addition to perhaps not having our favorite pew another
BIG change will be the reception of Holy Communion. The distribution of Holy Commun-
ion will take place outside of Mass. This will allow for those who not feel comfortable to
receive Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament to leave after the final blessing. Only the priest or
deacon will distribute Holy Communion at the end of Mass. We will start our way at the
side aisle on Saint Joseph side and work our way to the side aisle on Mary’s side.
At each communion station there will be a hand sanitizer area for the communicant,
as there is one for the priest. Before receiving Holy Communion in the hand, the communi-
cant is requested to use hand sanitizer. Catholics may receive Holy Communion in a man-
ner they so choose.
RECEPTION OPTIONS:
1) Kneeling and on the tongue
2) Standing and on the tongue
3) Receive Holy Communion in the hand while standing: (Diocese Recommended)
If you do not feel comfortable receiving physically, one can make an
Act of Spiritual Communion.
My Jesus, I believe that you are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love you above all things and I desire to receive you in my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment receive you sacramentally,
Come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace you as if you were already there
And unite myself wholly to you.
Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.
HELP US KEEP OUR CHURCH CLEAN
The Church will be cleaned after each Weekend
Mass. While our bathroom in the back of Church will
remain open for indoor Masses we kindly ask everyone
to use it ONLY for emergencies.
While the bathroom will be cleaned after every
Mass like the pews, it cannot be cleaned after every
use. We strongly encourage the use of hand sanitizer
after leaving the restroom.
AM—15
15 GALLON AIR ASSISTED MISTING
MACHINE
In the effort to keep the church
building cleaned and sanitized, we are
purchasing a new air assisted misting
machine that will help us sanitize our
church building in a matter of minutes.
This new machine is costing us
around $3,000 and will be used not just
in the church, but in Brenner Hall, the
cafeteria, and the school. It is a great in-
vestment cutting down the time needed to
sanitize the campus.
WE NEED YOU!
Thank you to all those individuals who have graciously volunteered to help clean
the Church after the weekend Masses. We truly appreciate your help. If you are inter-
ested in helping to clean the Church or help find people a seat please contact Father
