• Patriarchs: Job, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph

• Exodus:• God watched over and cared for the Israelites during

their journey through the wilderness, and worked through events and the giving of the law to shape them into a nation that was holy to Himself.

• The “captivity” generation is eliminated, and a new generation of Israelites that has only known the one true God possesses the Promised Land.

Restore the reproductive ability of both the land and the wombs of Israel (vs2-6)• They had been limited in the ability to proliferate and produce (either

divinely or by the natural stresses of desert life)• The blessing to produce is God’s original intent for mankind (Gen 1:28)

nations by blessing His people One of the greatest evangelical tools God’s people possess

is the testimony of the blessings that flow from living a life of faith and obedience to God

Through His Creation, God has revealed Himself as good, gracious and redemptive; yet, He moves against those who continually rebel and harden their heart

Man either walks with God by faith in His pro-mises of redemption, or rebels against God choos-ing to live by sight and the appetite of the flesh

captured God’s heart to bless His people and man’s heart to rebel in his dayJeremiah 7:23,25 - But this is what I commanded them, saying, ‘Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you will walk in all the way which I command you, that it may be well with you.’ Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stub-bornness of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward.
