Massachusetts eHealth Institute at MassTech (MeHI) announced iHub as one of three
leading healthcare R&D hubs to join the Digital Health Sandbox Network. The Digital
Health Sandbox Program aims to boost digital health across the Commonwealth by
connecting companies to innovative test beds that will bolster the research and
development lifecycle.

Governor’s Digital Health Council
The Digital Health Council advises the Governor regarding the digital health
industry, and developed a report identifying eight near-term priority initiative
recommendations:
• Establish a pre-eminent conference around digital
health in MA
• Support the growth and success of MassChallenge
HealthTech
• Provide a centralized web portal for digital health
resources
• Create sandbox environments
• Create a Hacker Hospital
• Establish a Cybersecurity Group of Experts

Evaluation Criteria
