Stringe quality steps, as a company culture, resulted to the acquisition of the EN 1072-2 quality certificate that gives us the right to declare the CE conformity of our steel structures. Through our division Weighing Engineering, we have

designed a wide range of weighbridge models

covering almost every need met in different markets.

Al l our weighbridges have the fo l lowing

characteristics in common:

� Direct installation on an existing horizontal

concrete surface, where trucks already circulate,

without the need of extra foundations. In any other

case, a full range of products manufactured in our

factory are available, i.e. steel or concrete

foundations and ramps. Alternatively, a full set of

detailed drawings are provided for local

preparation of concrete foundations.

� Our weighbridges are calculated to withstand

10ton per truck axle (+20% dynamic load),

according to the DIN8119 specifications. However,

our team of civil engineers and designers has

studied and designed many models for heavier

loading such as 15ton 20ton/axle, even 60ton/axle

which allow for a higher total capacity of the

weighbridges (e.g. 80ton or 100ton or 200ton)

� Load cells are top accessed by easily

removable covers

� Variety of different lengths and other

dimensions � Special sizes and constructions can

be designed and quoted upon request.

� Finish is industrial paint, with 2 coats of RAL

7016 GREY for main weighbridge body, 2 coats of

RAL 1003 YELLOW for auxiliary parts and 1 coat of

primer for both. Optionally, steel parts can be hot

galvanized. Epoxy coating is also available upon

request.

� Unloading and installation can be done with a

small capacity forklift and/or crane.

CP3000 SC Composite Weighbridge (Low Cost) - Surface

� Composed of a steel formwork including high quality steel reinforcements and load cells foundation plates molded on the floor/ground on a sheet of nylon. Mounting of load cell placement is effected after the concrete has hardened.� The main steel frame together with the reinforcing is delivered in parts easily bolted and assembled together on site; for example the 18x3m model, it is composed of 6 pcs of approximate dimensions 6x1,6m, so when bolted together they compose a structure of 18x3m. This process reduces on-site large crane requirements (a fork lift is also enough) and also reduces transportation cost.� The steel frame is placed on the ground on a sheet of nylon, which serves as a mold for the bottom of the platform. � High quality steel reinforcement is included in the standard supply.� Perfectly befitting applications with need for a concrete deck highly resistant

T-Profile Rubbers

Temporary columns are used to facilitate weighbridge installation whether in pit or pit-less version, avoiding misuse or damage of the weighing instruments.

Radiation Detection SystemVRDS identifies the gamma rays emitted by the presence of radioactive material loaded in vehicles while these are in motion. The recommended speed of the vehicle is 4-10 km/h. The measurement system consists of:� Two plastic scintillation detectors (IP65) of high sensitivity with integrated electronics for signal processing placed on concrete blocks, around 1 meter before the weighbridge. The detectors are managed by the LB112 evaluation unit, usually installed inside a weighing room, along with the other electronics. � The evaluation unit LB112 for monitoring. Batch Weighing and Dosing Automation

We design, manufacture and install weighing and dosing systems for solids and liquids. The capacities of our weighing systems range from the dosing of a few grammars to the weighing of large silos and tanks. Included in the systems we provide, there are micro-dosing systems of various types for different kinds of materials. Also, we provide weighing systems that can be combined with various applications, such as bagging systems, check weighing and loss-in-weight systems. Except for the weighing systems, we also provide complete volumetric systems, either with flow-meters and dosing pumps.

Our integrated systems are supplied with electrical cabinets composed by high level equipment of known manufacturers like Siemens, Telemechanique, Finder etc. The PLC is programmed by specialized programmers of our company. The PLCs used, are Siemens and Alen Bradley. Every PLC is protected by industrial noises and its outputs are protected by excessive voltage.

As part of the integrated system, our company also installs industrial networks of various types, like Profibus, Profibus DP, Ethernet, Profinet, Modbus. Our SCADA systems provide the operators with the capability to operate each element of the system by turning to �manual� operation when there is a need for maintenance or a repair.

Depending on the application, you can choose to use either a common PC or an industrial type screen (Operating Panel), which can be either with keyboard or a Touch Panel. On the screen is shown the whole operating diagram of the installation as well as all the malfunctions that may happen. The program is fully customized to suit the specific installation and through the screen there can be monitoring of the system, recipe input and registry of the total quantity of each raw material used.

SILO WEIGHINGOn silo weighing, the system measures the actual weight of the silo material. Examples of materials measured are: cement, sand, aggregates, flour, grains such as corn, rice or wheat, chemicals etc. The load cells are bolted onto each of the silo legs and measure the stress and hence the weight in the vessel. The load cells suitable for silo weighing, instead of measuring force, are clamped onto a surface and measure the extension or compression in the surface. It is based on metal foil strain gauges, which consist of a pattern of resistive foil printed onto a backing material. These are bonded onto the metal of the weigh sensors. They operate on the principle that as the foil is stretched or compressed, the resistance of the foil changes in a defined way. These resistance changes are extremely accurate and stable, allowing the result to be displayed digitally as the weight in the vessel.

LE-3500 - Load Cell Assembly For Silo Weighing

This load cells is available in capacities from 2t to 200t especially suitable for high capacity vessel weighing. The critical sensor element is a fully welded double ended shear beam, manufactured from high tensile 17-4 PH released stainless steel which is heat treated to give a high ultimate tensile strength, which results in excellent accuracy and repeatability. The mounting assembly has a tough, durable, paint finish as standard to provide a high level of protection. The bi-directional freedom of movement of the top plate allows for a high degree of misalignment in the vessel support structure which is particularly important in large structures where dimensional accuracy, rigidity and angular conformity cannot be guaranteed, or where large changes in ambient temperature are anticipated. The complete assembly incorporates lift off protection, reducing the need in many cases for additional restraints. Integrated holding bolts on capacities up to 75t facilitate routine maintenance. This eliminates the need for expensive installation work, giving a very cost effective total solution.
