All Saints Sunday - November 6
We will be remembering those who have gone before us. We will specifically remember those of our con-
gregation who died in the past year; we will also have the opportunity to remember loved ones who are no

The Week In Review
As it was an intergenerational service, Pastor Loretta’s three mini-messages were aimed at the Sunday
School children. The first message told the familiar story of Martin Luther and how the Reformation began.
The second segment was about how God is always widening the circle. To illustrate, Pr. Loretta started by
creating a circle on the floor with rope; that circle was soon filled by the Sunday School children and teach-
ers. Then she enlarged the circle again and again, inviting every-
one who loves God and loves people to join. See Carter’s photo at
right for the results! The last segment was on the word “reform”:
when we spell the word “re-form” we can see how it can mean
changing something, or turning it into something else. This is
what God is continually doing to us and to the church.
Our worship was enhanced with stirring music, including our
Reformation favorite, “A Mighty Fortress”; our singing had extra
zest, powered by the organ accompaniment of Bill Renwick.
