The William F. PCORI Offers New Funding Support for Meetings and Events Do you have ideas for a symposium, workshop, or other event focused on developing and sharing information about patient-‐centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER)? Our Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Awards program today announced a new funding opportunity to support such initiatives. Eligible organizations may begin applying immediately for these awards, ranging from $50,000 to $250,000. This is the latest addition to our Engagement Awards program, which supports a range of projects that encourage involvement by patients, clinicians, and other healthcare stakeholders in the work we do. PCORI – Eugene Washington PCORI Engagement Awards Program The Engagement Awards were created to forge opportunities for patients and other stakeholder communities to become more involved in patient-‐centered research. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation: Active Calls for Proposals *NEW: Robert Wood Johnson Foundation: Evaluating High-‐Value Innovations from Low-‐Resource Communities Deadline: December 10, 2015 The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is issuing a call for proposals to support the identification and evaluation of promising innovations that improve health and health care quality—without increasing costs—in low-‐resource communities. Up to 10 evaluations will be funded for a total of up to $2.5 million. Evidence for Action: Investigator-‐Initiated Research to Build a Culture of Health Deadline: Open (Applications are accepted on a rolling basis) Evidence for Action: Investigator-‐Initiated Research to Build a Culture of Health is a national program of RWJF that supports the Foundation’s commitment to building a Culture of Health in the United States. The program aims to provide individuals, organizations, communities, policymakers, and researchers with the empirical evidence needed to address the key determinants of health encompassed in the Culture of Health Action Framework. Additionally, Evidence for Action will also support efforts to assess outcomes and set priorities for action.
