The Executive Secretary of Gashora sector, Mr. Peter Thorp, Suzy and the students at the memorial site.

In his speech, after the walk, Mr. Thorp apologized on behalf of his country (USA) and honored Rwanda. He acknowledged the unbelievable progress of Rwanda after the genocide. He marked that it is high time for the world to think Rwanda as an achieving, progressing, and able country to recover from the horrors of the genocide.

Let’s stand up together saying NO to genocide by being peace sowers and positive change makers.
