Week of nov 15

What have we been doing in the Chipmunks’ class this week??

We’ve been watching and taking care of Gary the snail.

We have been busy playing and asking for our creations to be featured on the blog!!!

There has been lots of writing and sign making during choosing time!

Some friends wanted to make letters to Coach Pekin and Coach Hazel to tell them how much they liked swimming!

We had lots of fun with the tinkering trolley!

We did some great paintings at choosing time.

We took the snails on a race to see which snail came first, then we made a graph to show our results.

We learned some new reading and phonics games.

We read the big book “Let’s have a swim” together. Then we wrote comments about the story and put all the animals in the same order as in the book.

We had swimming for PE!!

We started our reading groups!

We listened to the story “Little Quack” at listening center, then we wrote and drew our favourite parts of the story.
