Unlocking potential ….Changing lives
Principal’s News
We are delighted that we have
finally launched our new Praise
and Reward system. More
details are overleaf but all
learners have responded
positively to receiving merits
and collecting these in their
planners.
Mrs Woodhouse has led all
year group assemblies this
week and revisited with
learners expectations around
behaviour, attendance and
uniform. We are also working
hard across the school to
ensure that standards of
Keeping track of homework set
and when it needs to be
completed. More information
will follow over the next few
weeks.
We have had a number of
ongoing issues with school
transport. Like many of you I
have been frustrated and
concerned to hear of buses
driving past learners or not
turning up on time. I have
arranged to meet the bus
companies next week and will
of course keep you informed of
the outcome.
Have a good weekend.

Feedback from Parental Questionnaire...
In response to your views on the Parental Questionnaire last May, we have
begun to implement some of the improvements that you asked for.
We have added merit pages to planners so that you can see every day
how your child is being rewarded in school. You can now view your child's
achievement points on the school gateway app, which are added every
time your child accrues 25 merits. You can also see if they have been
issued with any behaviour points.
We have begun the reorganisation of the school website to ensure that
the information that you need is easy to find and we are getting ready to
launch our new online homework calendar, which will enable you to have
a comprehensive view of every aspect of your child's homework. This new
system will be up and running as soon as possible... watch this space!
