Part 1

Warm-Up-Based on what you know about the water cycle draw a diagram illustrating the steps of the water cycle. If you are unfamiliar with the water cycle infer what you believe the steps or parts would be based on the title.

Essential Question: Describe how relative humidity is affected by temperature and levels of water vapor?

Remember the story of the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf

Remember how each pig built a house and the pig who made the house out of brick, house did not fall down. Well lets retell this story so that we can remember the four different fronts (page 86-87). Work with your pair to recreate the story from a selected front. The teacher will whisper the type of front but don't tell the class, because we will try to guess which front you are talking about.

For example Once upon a time the Big Bad Wolf came to frighten the pigs.

He said I will huff and puff and blow your house down. He put up a big front, but I knew he was just being cold. It was hot outside, but the Big Bad Wolf still decided to blow his cold air to try to knock the house down, instead it just made it cooler outside. The next thing we knew it was raining and snowing and we made a snow man instead. The end!!!

Create a Venn Diagram with your pair. Compare and Contrast Hurricanes and Thunderstorms.
