As you can see, Government has a lot to do with our lives.
She is the class captain of 7Red at Gerehu Primary School. She also attends Sunday worship at the local church every week. She lives with her family at Waigani. Everyday, she travels to school on public transport. After school each day, she helps out in the house to prepare dinner and does the dishes. Once in a while, she watches News on the television about events taking place in PNG and overseas.
What is Government?

Main role of a government of any group is to:
satisfy the needs of every member of a small or large group of people

Types of GovernmentThere are two main types of government
1.Traditional government
● existed in the past – two kinds
● worked well in small groups or tribe
2.New (Constitutional or Modern) government
colonial times
worked well in large groups or country.

Two kinds of traditional government:
