Maile AffairThe maile is the most traditional wedding lei, as it was used by the Kahuna (Hawaiian Priest) in

old Hawaii to bind the hands of the wedding couple, symbolizing their commitment to each other.

Also known to many as the “lei of royalty,” is given to signify respect and honor.

Services include:• A personal Wedding Concierge to assist in planning

your event.

• A private limousine to greet you at the airport and escort you to obtain your marriage license (application provided in advance).

• Upon arrival to the hotel, you will be escorted to the world’s most romantic luxury accommodation, the Halekulani Suite for a four-night stay.

• Enjoy a private ceremony on your balcony overlook-ing Diamond Head and the sparkling Pacific Ocean or below the palm trees of our beautiful Garden Courtyard setting where an elegant trellis decorated with fresh florals evoke the definitive Hawaiian setting for your affair.

• Enjoy our “Ultimate SpaHalekulani Experience” for two on the privacy of your balcony, for 90 minutes of bliss. Services include pedicure, manicure, and a gift of our original Maile spa products.

• On the day of your nuptials, a personal stylist will be available to assist with hair, make-up, and gown.

• Included in the ceremony is the minister, as well as a choice between a harpist or Hawaiian soloist to create your idyllic setting.

• Our floral designer will create a custom bouquet to complement the traditional maile lei.

• An experienced staff of photographers and videographers will capture your special moment and provide you with an album and DVD copies to cherish a lifetime.

• Following your wedding, you will receive a personalized wedding certificate and a special wedding gift from Halekulani.

• Keepsake Halekulani champagne flutes and a bottle of champagne await you in your suite after the ceremony.

• What better way to conclude this wonderful event than dinner for two in our award winning restaurant La Mer, where our Executive Chef will prepare an exquisite dinner.

• The morning after, the beginning of a new life commences with a butler-served breakfast in bed or on your balcony overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

• The final touch, leis upon departure with a chauffeured limousine to the airport.
