ENGAGEMENT WEDDING WEDDING Mr. and Mrs. Brian Chen Jennifer Lynn Shrear and Brian Collinson Chen were married June 25, 2011, in the gardens of Galleria Marchetti in Chicago, IL. Retired Judge Patrick Morse performed the double-ring ceremony. A celebratory reception was held at the Galleria Marchetti. e bride is the daughter of Marvin and Maureen (Rene) Shrear of Kenilworth, IL. e groom is the son of David and Crystal Chen of Amherst, NH. Jennifer’s dress was designed by “Jenny Yoo”. e trio, “Parkwest Strings” played before, during and after the ceremony. e band “Mike Dangeroux” entertained during the reception. Presented in marriage by her father, the bride was attended by Elana Viner (New Trier HS friend), as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Samantha Posluszny, cousin; Erin Papuga, lifetime friend; Lee Hadlow Halloran, Duke University roommate for 4 yrs; Julia Kazul, New Trier HS and Duke University friend; Ann Marie Smith, Duke University friend; Genevieve McKeel, DC friend (who attended Georgetown with Brian). Paul Chen, the groom’s brother, of San Francisco, CA was the Best Man. Ushers were Michael Boynton (Georgetown friend and lacrosse teammate); youth and lifetime friends of the groom - Christopher Erickson, Donald Smallwood III, Ethan Griffin, Mark Fallet, and Graham Dewar; and Jason Shrear (brother of the bride). Readers at the wedding ceremony: e bride’s New Trier HS friends Liza Behles and Kate McCallister, and groom’s St. Paul’s School and Georgetown friends, John Imbriglia and Ben Bleiman. e bride is a graduate of New Trier HS in Wilmette, IL, of Duke University in Durham, NC, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Earth and Ocean Science, and George Washington University where she received her Master’s Degree in Education. e groom attended Souhegan HS, is a graduate of St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH, a graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, DC where he majored in Government. e groom is currently working towards a Master’s in Business Administration at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Brian and Jennifer met through mutual friends in Washington DC where they currently reside. Jennifer is a science teacher at the Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, MD and Brian is a commercial real estate Asset Manager at Tishman Speyer Properties. Steven and Misha Conaway Steven Conaway recently married Misha Moschera. e wed- ding ceremony, attended by close family members, took place on a quiet beach in Maui, Hawaii. e best man was the groom’s broth- er, David Conaway, of Manchester, NH. e matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Kavita Colon of New York City. e youngest and oldest attendees at the wedding were 10 month-old Ethan Con- away, son of David and Meredith Conaway and Ida Moschera, the bride’s grandmother at 100 years young. e ceremony, written by the participants, was conducted by Chris Colon, Kavita’s husband. After the Hawaii ceremony, celebrations were held in NH and NY. Highlights of the backyard NH celebration included a wet slip- n’-slide and a photo booth that automatically uploaded portraits of oddly attired attendees to the internet. In NY, a beautiful Hindu wedding ceremony and luncheon banquet was followed by a din- ner-dance. Steve is the son of Jack and MaryAnne Conaway of Amherst, NH. Misha is the daughter of John and Sarala Moschera of Hast- ings-on-Hudson, NY. Steve met Misha in the outing club at UNH. After graduation with bachelor degrees, they moved to State Col- lege, PA where Misha recently acquired her master’s degree in Ap- plied Youth, Family, and Community Education from Penn State University. Misha is employed by the Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania, a children’s museum. Steve is a researcher at PSU in the final year of a PhD program in Plant Pathology. Teas – Wheeler Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Wheeler of Amherst announce the engage- ment of their daughter, Amy Elizabeth, to Mr. G. Frank Teas of Nashua. Miss Wheeler is a graduate of Souhegan High School and earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Whittemore School of Business & Economics at the University of New Hampshire, Durham. She is employed at First Colebrook Bank as Vice President of Branch Administration and Marketing. She is serving her second year as Chairman/President of the Souh- gegan Valley Chamber of Commerce; her sixth year as a director on the board of the Nashua Pastoral Care Center; and a charter member and Sergeant at Arms for the Rotary Club of Souhegan Valley. Mr. Teas is the son of Susan (Cross) Teas and the late Frank G. Teas of Nashua. He is a graduate of Bishop Guertin High School and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bryant University. He is employed as President & CEO of e Nashua Bank and serving his first term as director on the board of the Greater Nashua Chamber of Commerce. He also serves as di- rector of the Huntington board in Nashua; Chairman of the May- or’s Art Commission; as well as member of and past president of the Rotary Club of Nashua. Mr. and Mrs. Brian Chen
