The Four Alleluias. Rev 19:1-4.
• Location: Heaven.
• Time: At the end of the “Day of the Lord”.
• Scene: Last of the seven visions of heaven in the Book of Revelation.
• Context: Anticipation of the Kingdom.– Heaven is filled with praise. – 4 Alleluias: Vs 1.; Vs 3.; Vs 4.; Vs 6.– Means: Praise the Lord.– First mention in the New Testament and no where
else. (Just four times in this passage).
I Rev 19:1-2 Full Salvation
And after these things I heard a great voice of
much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia;
Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power,
unto the Lord our God: For true and righteous
[are] His judgments: for he hath judged the great
whore, which did corrupt the earth with her
fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his
servants at her hand.
Rev 19:1-2 Full Salvation
• Heaven rejoices not because of damnation.
– Ezk 33:11 Say unto them, [As] I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have
no pleasure in the death of the wicked;
• The righteous glory of Lord Jesus Christ is come. The
full salvation.
– Rom 13:11 for now [is] our salvation nearer than when we
believed.
• Full Salvation is not just the rescue of the Saints but the
judgement of the Wicked.
II Rev 19:3-4 Smoke Forever
And again they said, Alleluia. And her
smoke rose up for ever and ever.
And the four and twenty elders and the four
beasts fell down and worshipped God that
sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

• First use of Alleluia in the Hallel Psalms. (Ps 104-109; 113-118; 146-150)
– Ps. 104: 35- Sinners shall be consumed out of the earth, and the wicked shall be no
more. Bless Jehovah, O my soul. Hallelujah!
– First mention used for Judgement.
• Judgements are true and righteous.
– Full judgement. Final and eternal judgement.
– Is 9:6-7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the
government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The
Prince of Peace. Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall
be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it,
and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth
even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
III Rev 19:6-7. Sovereign
And I heard as it were the voice of a great
multitude, and as the voice of many waters,
and as the voice of mighty thunderings,
saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent
reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and
give honour to him: for the marriage of the
Lamb is come, and his wife hath made
herself ready.

– Talks about the Sovereignty of God.
– Cause of Praise to the Lord.
• Day when the afflicters will be afflicted and the afflicted
will be comforted.
Rev 19:7-9. Marriage of the Lamb.
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed [are] they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
