What is the style?

: State of Consistence

We use the word “style” easily, but what is the style? In my thought, style is the state of consistence. Once style is made, it can make reproduce another behavior or art work in the same way. So the function of style is gathering the scattered elements to one.

Conclusion

Like the above work, I analyzed several web sites with the style of classical architecture with recognizing structure of websites, drawing diagrams, and finding some rules. Through this work, I got to know our eyes are so familiar that we can’t catch classical composition and rules fast. But classical rule, pursued ideal beauty through some composition rules called as “taxis”, is able to be found in many web sites which we can see everyday and everywhere. Of course some web sites cannot analyze classical architecture style, but to me I look the structure of web sites which keep the some rule of classical style more powerful than other web sites which don’t keep the rule of classic as web sites giving or communicating information. Of course my personal visual experience is limited by myself. Nevertheless, I think it can’t ignore my visual experience, because style or structure of works is mainly based on visual experience.
