Today, during my time traveling adventures, I had the pleasure of
being able to sit down with Mark Antony. We chatted about some
issues from the Roman Empire.
Q: How do you feel about the murder of Julius Caesar?
A: I feel that the conspirators shouldn’t have
murdered Julius Caesar because Caesar did a lot for theconspirators. I also felt upset.
Q: Do you believe that Brutus was an honorable man? A: I don’t believe Brutus was an honorable man because he
killed Caesar when Caesar saw Brutus as a good friend.
Q: Why did you say that Brutus and the conspirators are
honorable men?
Mark Antony.
A: I said that because of sarcasm. They aren’t honorable men. At first, the conspiratorsthought that I was on their side, but as I kept saying “honorable men,” I think they got the
idea that I am against them.
Q: What was the reaction when you and the conspirators were in front of the Senate
where Caesar was lying dead?
A: My reaction was that I didn’t know what to do because there were too many people against
me, and so I pretended that I was with their league.
Q: How did you feel about Caesar? A: I felt that Caesar was like my father because he was there for me. It hurt me to know that
his best friend betrayed him.
Q: Do you think that the crowd was hard to persuade?
A: The crowd wasn’t as hard to persuade because I told them the truth about what Caesar left
for them and also what he did for them.
Q: What do you think of the Soothsayer?
A: I think that the Soothsayer was trying to open Caesar’s eyes to what he thought his friends
were going to do to him.
Q: Who do you consider to be your best friend now?
A: I think that I consider my best friend Octavius.
Q: What do you think of Lepidus?
A: Lepidus was a guy that I thought wouldn’t be much use to us in the war.
Q: What kind of feeling do you have about Octavius? A: The feeling is that I see him as a brother.
Q: Do you think Octavius is going to get murdered by different conspirators?
A: Probably not because it seems that the crowd saw the right side of everything.
