We would like to express our sincere thank you to everyone across Muskoka whoparticipated and supported our recent butter tart bake-off on Valentine’s Day.
This fundraiser was created in memory of Hall Seeley, a valued member of the com-munity who passed away last year. Muskoka stepped up and we had 33 entries in thecompetition and 756 butter tarts for our lively auction. Our special thanks to GordMitchell for being our master auctioneer and the judges who spent two hours tastingand all the volunteers who made this happen. We also express our thanks to Metrolandand Moose FM for the great promotion. This was a fundraiser to support Trinity UnitedChurch in Huntsville, which is home to many arts groups and volunteer organizationsin Huntsville. We raised almost $1,600 to support the replacement of the heating sys-tem at Trinity United Church in Huntsville. We hope everyone is looking forward to nextyear. We had a lot of fun putting this together.
