It was a fantastic experience for students to personally engage with numerous aspects of their Agriculture subject. This occurred with displays of animals, machinery, universities, paddock to the plate processes and interacting with many people. Being in a rural setting, with more people than the population of our town, but with the same focus, also proved to be a valuable experience. As technology in Agriculture changes, techniques in farming and employment opportunities evolve, it will be interesting to compare a possible experience in 2019. Thank you to JP and Mr Kirkland, who drove us safely over and back. Well done to our students who, as part of the 3 NBSA teams of Rugby League and Ladies League Tag, in Walgett last week. We had a very successful Ladies League Tag team. They won the tournament. Congratulations to Terri-Lee Murray, who took on the leadership role of this team. Consisting of 3 other schools, Terri-Lee did an amazing job, instructing her team and offering encouragement that saw them lift the trophy. Well done TerriLee, Keyarlee Cole- Shepherd and Janice Murray. Tries were made by all 3 of our fantastic girls. Our senior boys came second behind Moree. They played very well. Tries were made by: Jace Peters, Kyran Walford, Zac Flick and Will Simmonds
