Abstract

This document is a guide and sample paper for 1. International Gobeklitepe Agriculture Congress. For your paper to be published in the conference proceedings, you must use this document as both an instruction set and as a template into which you can type your own text. If your paper does not conform to the required format, you will be asked to fix it. Abstract section contains no more than 250 words. In this section briefly aims of the research, the main results obtained, and the conclusions must be given.

Key Words: Example; Example2; Example3 (3–5 keywords which will enable a subsequent information retrieval system to locate the article, must be given.)

IntroductionDescribing the background of the work and

its aims must be given in this section.Before submitting your final manuscript,

check that the format conforms to this template. Specifically, check the appearance of the title and author block, the appearance of section headings, document margins, column width and other features. Please make sure that the use of other languages in figures and tables is avoided. Manuscripts should be checked by a native English speaker with expertise in the field prior to submission.

An easy way to comply with the symposium paper formatting requirements is to use this document as a template and simply type your text into it.

You can write your manuscript in any Microsoft Office Word version.

Your manuscript must use a page size corresponding to A4 which is 210 mm wide and 297 mm long. The margins must be set as follows:

Top = 20 mmBottom = 20 mmLeft = Right = 20 mmGutter = 10 mm

Your manuscript must be in double-column format and not more than 8 pages including references.

All paragraphs must be justified, i.e. both left-justified and right-justified. The entire manuscript should be given in Times New Roman font.

Title must be in 14 pt bold, author names must be in 12 pt bold, authors’ addresses and e-mails must be in 10 pt, abstract and key words must be in 10 pt, other sections must be 11 pt bold.

Title and author names must be in single-column format and must be centered.

Every word in a title must be capitalized except for short minor words such as “a”, “an”, “and”, “as”, “at”, “by”, “for”, “from”, “if”, “in”, “into”, “on”, “or”, “of”, “the”, “to”, “with”.

Başlıkta yer alan her kelime (a, an, and, as, at, by, for, from, if, in, into, on, or, of, the, to, with hariç) büyük harflerle yazılmış olmalıdır.

Author details must not show any academic title (e.g. Prof., Dr.) or any membership of any professional organization.

To avoid confusion, the family name must be written as the last part of each author name and with capital letter (e.g. Sadettin GÜRSÖZ).

It is compulsory for the corresponding author to be indicated and his / her e-mail address to be presented.

Materials and MethodsA brief description of the methods/techniques

used (If readers can easily access references, the principles of these methods may not be explained in detail) must be given.

Italic type should be used if a title from the second level is used except main titles (see below for formats).

Results and DiscussionIn this section, a clear presentation of

experimental results obtained, highlighting any trends or points of interest must be given.

Figures and tables must be flush left side in the column. Graphics and figures may be full color.

Table and figure names must be 11 pt, contents of those must be 10 pt (Table 1; Figure 2).
