Copy the RoutingRuleAgent.dll on the below mentioned path.
Open the command shell and go the directory C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v2.0.50727 and run the command mentioned below
Enable diagnose logging high to understand how it works and activity is happening using this agent. (Value 7)
Verify the existing transport agent by running Get-TransportAgent and you will observe as mentioned

We have configured 2 send connectors with different smart host configuration and some changes @address space as mentioned in below screenshots.
You will notice on Send Connector called Internet I have the SMTP address as * and smart host has 192.168.1.20
The other send connector called DogFood has the address space dogfood.com and smart host as 192.168.1.25
Now we have created Send connectors let us create a transport rule which will include the exchange header & its value to work with Send connector.
Below are the screenshot of the event logs which are generated in regards to Routing rule agent and we will see further screenshots which actually mentions the Transport Rule Agent was used by the recipient [email protected] (If you observed above when we had enabled diagnose logging using Registry
