This is a very special edition of our newsletter. This month, I asked our young people to write down what they were thankful for. In the next few pages, you will get to read what they wrote. Truly, we all have a lot to be thankful for, and I wanted to take this opportunity to say a few things that I am thankful for. First of all, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was the one who gave His life in my place so that I could live forever with Him. He is the one that watches over me every day, and provides everything that I need. I could never even begin to thank Him enough. Next, I am so thankful for my beautiful wife, Renee. She truly is a remarkable woman. She sacrifices so much so that I can follow after this calling that God has placed on my life. I would not be where I am today without her. I love you, Renee. Also, the two best children on this planet. God has truly blessed me with two of the most precious gifts that have ever been given. I am so proud of T.J. and Haley, and I love them both very much. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work for the Lord in two awesome churches…first at Duncan Church of God where I grew up and learned so much about the Lord, and then to come to Trinity Holiness Church and have the opportunity to work with such a great youth group. I am blessed beyond measure. I’m thankful for my parents who raised me in church, and taught me the right way to live. I’m thankful every day that I can get up and walk and do the things that I need to do on my own. Yes, I am truly blessed. May we all never forget how blessed we really are.
