Sprint the length of the first sprint is 1 hour. The second sprint is 45 minutes. The last 15 minutes there will be presentations. b. Teams and roles (Multidisciplinair) teams of +- 4 participants are constructed for the workshop. Participants receive a (collored) card with their role for the workshop at the entrance. Every team has one leader (scrum master). The others are regular team members. For sprints of several weeks or months teams should be formed by looking at the different talents participants have. c. Learning goal and product to be developed We as product owners present the primary goal and assigment of the sprint. The teams continue with this information as the product backlog. This is a list of what is there to be developed, why it should be developed and for which stakeholder(s). This means a description of an assignment together with learning goals and competencies/ talents that are developed during the sprint.The product backlog is a prioritised list. Important tasks are on top of the list. Items on this list are detailed. Therefore, participants of the workshop are able to finish the items before the end of the workshop. d. Work planning We as product owners communicate deadlines, time frames within the workshop and available materials. Participating teams make their own planning based on these prerequisites. This results in a To do list for the workshop. On the To do list you can find what will be done during the sprint. Inspection and adjustment are important for succesfull results of eduscrum. Therefore, it is important to plan moments of inspection and adjustment. For this workshop you have to plan at least one moment of inspection and adjustment with the team. e. Work Teams start with working on the project. The scrum master controles the proces and makes sure the moments of inspection and adjustment are taken seriously. If the team gets in to trouble, the scrum master tries to solve the problem first. If the problem is too complex for the scrum master, the scrum master consults the product owner.

1. What is Scrum?Scrum is used succesfully in the IT branche for product development. It is a way of working where transparency, inspection and adjustment are the core elements.

a. Sprint

g. Personal retrospectiveTeams search for a private place and talk about their personal contribution.From this conversation every team member collects a tip (what can you do to be more valuable to the team) and top ( What are you doing that has great value for the team)

1. Assignment‘Build a toy’

Participants will develop a toy, that is sustainable and has educational value. As a result, the participants will get a feeling for the different aspects of sustainability and share their own ideas regarding educational and sustainable innovations. The teams share a picture of the team and the developed product on social media. (twitter: # FED,…)

Criteria:- The toy should be innovative- The toy should not be harmful to the environment (e.g. materials, energy used, effect on

environment)- The toy should have educational value - The toy should not be dangerous (sharpness of product, small parts, etc.)

Learning goals:Get a feeling of working with eduscrum as a working method.Learn about your personal talents during collaboration.

Learning activities: - Explore your vision- Building with simple materials- Debating- Conversing - Presenting - Philosophising - Creative thinking - Creative writing

2. To Do listOn the to do list you put all tasks that need to be fulfilled in order to fulfil the assignment. At least you need to do the tasks here below. Of course you have to add tasks on your own to be able to create a prototype of the toy in the end.

3.This is called the flap. This is an overview of your workload (on post-it’s). As soon as your team/team member starts working on a task the corresponding post-it will be put in the next column (In Progress). In this way the workflow is transparent for the entire team.

4.You have to make sure that your first prototype will be ready for inspection at 17:00hr. Based on the inspection your team decides which adjustments need te be made in order to improve the toy according the assignment and criteria.
