MOVIEMAKER BOOK TRAILER PROJECT Your job is to create a visual presentation of book of your choice that expresses your personal ideas, informs and persuades. This will be a multimedia presentation consisting of: IMAGES MUSIC NARRATION (TEXT) SPECIAL EFFECTS VIDEO Your video will need to be at least 2 minutes in length. TIMELINE Day One Get in groups and determine which book you want to use create a trailer. Begin to formulate the Storyboard. Each group will have one, but you should work together to formulate your ideas. Day Two Complete the Storyboard together first today. Then begin to delegate responsibilities. Begin to talk about props you might want from home to use in video shoots. You will also need to find music or create music in Sony Music Studio that matches the emotion of your book and video. Use Photoshop (if necessary) to create slides that are creative and attractive. These can be saved as pictures and inserted into your movie. This could be where your text will come from. You will also create a book cover in Photoshop to be the first image seen in your trailer introducing the book. You also need high QUALITY images from the Internet! If you are ready to film today, you may borrow the cameras to do so. If you do not film today, you MUST be ready to film on our next class day! Prepare and plan!! Day Three Shoot your video clips today! Try to be creative and make sure we can understand what is being said in your video clips. You should take MORE video than you need as you will be able to clip it in Moviemaker. Day Four Begin assembling what has been created in Moviemaker to create your own .wmv to share with the class. Each person will contribute to the group event, but you will eventually be responsible for making a separate movie file using the elements created.
