Note down 5 ambitious openers and 5 interesting connectives. 2) Illustrator. Create an illustration that shows the emotions of one or more key character. 3) Questioner. Write a short letter to a character in your book. Ask questions about their actions and give advice. 4) Summariser. Summarise a key Writing: We would like you to write an adventure story inspired by the attached image. This will be completed over two weeks. This week we are creating a plan and writing an introduction that describes the setting. Story Mapping and image attached. Mild: Complete the Story Mapping sheet. Write a short introduction that introduces the setting and characters. Spicy: Complete the above. Use the word bank and a variety of connectives and openers Hot: Complete the above. Split Numeracy: Fractions of numbers This week we will continue to find fractions of numbers and solve word problems. There are questions for each level on OLJ Mild: solve problems which involve finding single fractions of numbers: 1 5 of a class of 25 are girls, how many girls and boys are in the class? How many different combinations of kit will the team have to choose between? i.e. black shorts and a red and white t shirt. Try to be systematic. Challenge: If you add in one more option of short colour Beyond Number: Imagine you had an income of £10 a week. Draw up an imaginary budget showing how you plan to spend and/or save that money for a month. Can you create a poster which might encourage your friends and family to save money? Think of things you could do to save such as looking for special deals/offers in the supermarkets, buying only essentials, comparing

Reading: Use the book you are reading or a book you have read to complete these tasks.

Writing: We would like you to write an adventure story inspired by the attached image. This will be completed over two weeks.
