Dear Mr. Edgar,
1
National Collegiate Solutions has many rewarding things accomplished thus far for
Archway Publications; I am happy to disclose that we have been extremely busy and
very successful.
To review, NCSI began work on your project April 5. Our team at NCSI developed a form
to interview college students around the country about their preferences in varying
magazine publications. The interview questions ranged from their favorite gossip topics,
celebrities, advice columns, and advertisements. The interview form was composed of
100 questions, with phrases intermittently repeated in different questions to be sure
that the interviewee was answering accurately. We chose 35 English and journalism
students from the University of Asheville to edit our questionnaire and ensure that the
questions were phrased accurately and in an easy-to- understand fashion. From the
editing remarks we received, we then revised the questionnaire; and to remind you, we
received approval from Archway Publications to use the final questionnaire form. Next,
NCSI posted an advertisement on the popular homework help site Chegg, using an
incentive of a $25 Visa gift card reward for applicants who were selected. Our ad
received many submissions, from which we carefully screened applicants to ensure that
they did in fact subscribe to magazines, and to ensure that our pool of students were
diverse. We decided to poll across 12 campuses in different locations across the
country.
By April 30, we had completed all 50 interviews with students. We ensured that all 50
students were able to arrange transportation to 3 different campuses; according to the
students’ current location needs. On June 1, NCSI will have completed the next phase of
interviews with 50 more unique students. We are happy to report that our firm is ahead
of schedule on the project and looking forward to reporting back more progress on June
1
6, and then again on June 20- our final report with our best recommendations and
conclusions.
Thank you for entrusting us with such an important project.
Let me know if you have any comments- I will be on standby.
I can be reached at [email protected] , or 828-488-6767.
Sincerely,
Alexess Holt
