1.REGISTRATION FEE Registration fees for the 8 th International Buddhist Research Seminar are indicated in the table below. Payments can be made either by bank transfer or by credit card. 2. All the transaction charges associated with payment (by bank transfer or by credit card) are responsibility of the participant. 3. Any fees deducted on our end must paid in cash upon registration. 4. All on-site payments to the conference must be made in cash. 1.REGISTRATION FEE

Registration fees for the 8th International Buddhist Research Seminar are indicated in the table below.

Categories Early Bird(January 1 -April 15, 2017)

Payment Calculation

Each participant needs to pay the registration fee. One author with one accepted submission will have to pay the registration fee. The co-author of the same paper shall make the registration fee individually if he/she will present the paper together in the conference. If one author have more than one accepted paper to present, he/she will have to make the payment for each submission.

Receipt

The receipt as a proof of payment will be issued at the registration desk during the conference.

Certificate

A certificate of attendance includes participant’s name and affiliation, certifying the participation in the conference. A certificate of presentation indicates a presenter’s name, affiliation and the paper title that is presented in the scheduled session.

Certificate Distribution

Oral presenters will receive a certificate of presentation from the session chair after their presentations or at the end of the session. Poster presenters will receive a certificate of presentation from the conference staff at the end of their poster session.

The certificate of presentation will not be issued, either at or after the conference, to authors whose papers are registered but not presented. Instead, the certificate of attendance will be provided after the conference.

If authors are not able to present their papers due to unavoidable circumstances, they shall provide the official certification document to request for the certificate of presentation. For more details, please contact the conference secretariat at [email protected]

Refunds

No refunds will be issued by IBRS1017 for any reason. Participants shall have confirmed all conference information before they complete the registration payment.

Journal of International Buddhist Studies (JIBS) is published in June and December by Buddhist Research Institute of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University. The journal features articles and research notes/articles in the fields of Buddhist Studies, Social Sciences and Humanities. Its aim is to encourage and disseminate scholarly contributions by the University’s faculty members and researchers. Well researched, innovative works by other scholars are welcome. A review committee consisting of academic experts in the relevant fields will screen all manuscripts, and the editorial board reserves the right to recommend revision/alteration, if necessary, before their final acceptance for publication.
