Jake Kilburg Memorial Scholarship Sponsored by the Kilburg Family & Mississippi Valley Regional Blood Center This application is due Monday, April 13, 2020 by the end of the school day to the CHS Counseling Office. Jake was a student of CHS and Lincoln High School who lost his life in a tragic car accident. He planned to enlist in the military after graduation; he came from a military family. He was very outgoing, loved skateboarding, and spending time with his family and friends. He loved animals, helping others and making people laugh. Jake lived his life to the fullest; he believed that we are on this Earth to help one another. He believed in the importance of donating blood and organ donation. The amount of scholarship will be determined in the spring. A one-time payment will be made to the school designated by the winner. Please see disclaimer for details.

Eligibility:

You must be a Clinton High School or Clinton High Gateway Learning Center senior and registered for college You must have a minimum GPA of 2.0Have donated blood (Not required, but preferred.)

Disclaimer:

Should the recipient be unable to use the scholarship funds for said purpose, the money will be used for another eligible Clinton High School or Clinton High Gateway Learning Center senior. Check will be written to the college. If the recipient drops during the course of the year that the scholarship is awarded, then he/she must refund all accepted scholarship monies back to the scholarship fund for reconsideration for another student.

Applications must be turned into Counseling Office no later than April 13, 2020.
